Truly gentle on my stomach my- go-to daily Omega-3 for over a year.
My doctor recommended fish oil for years, but every other brand I tried caused stomach upset. Nordic naturals is the only one that completely agrees with my digestive system. Here's why I keep reordering it: Zero digestive issues: I have taken this for about a year now and have never experienced stomach pain or the dreaded, "fish burps." Pleasant flavor: There is absolutely no foul odor or fishy aftertaste. It has a very subtle lemon flavor that makes it easy to swallow. Consistent quality: My new bottle just arrived right as I was finishing my last one. (See photo) The quality and freshness have been perfectly consistent across every bottle that I have bought this year. If you have a sensitive stomach but need a high quality fish oil, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

Not a harsh flavor at all
I bought this as an adjunct to the softgels I already take. I get quarterly blood work with my Naturopath and we look at all risk factors in the blood to improve my overall health, including Omega 3s. I had been taking two fish oil softgels per day which is better than nothing, but it still wasn't getting my omega 3s high enough. I started taking a larger softgel fish oil supplement (5 per day) available here on Amazon by a company with the Initials M. I. That raised my omega 3s to a pretty good level, but she said it still could use even more improvement. I didn't want to swallow any more of those gargantuan fish oil softgels on top of the other supplements I take daily, so I added this liquid product. I get my blood work done again this month. I am anxious to see the results the following month. This is not completely odor free or fish-taste-free, but that flavor and scent is surprisingly low, and the lemon flavor modulates that very well. I would recommend having another drink (even water) close by, because you will begin to notice a little fish smell and/or aftertaste--albeit slight--in your mouth and coming through your nostrils if you ingest your teaspoon of fish oil and nothing else. Wash off your teaspoon thoroughly in soap and water and wipe off with a paper towel if you plan to reuse that same teaspoon later, or you will notice a fish smell coming from the spoon if all you do is rinse off and wipe it down. This is good advice for any utensil/cup/bowl/plate, but from a fish scent standpoint, it is very useful here. Fish oil is one of THE most important supplements a person can add to their diet. The overwhelming majority of people with cardiovascular disease are deficient. Fish Oil/Omega 3s reduce triglycerides in the blood, prevent clotting, reduce inflammation, and support cognition amongst other things. The help increase HDLs and lower LDLs, and modestly decrease blood pressure. As with any supplement you take, discuss it with your doctor. If you're on blood thinners, this will further thin the blood so you could be at a bleeding risk. If you don't already have one, I recommend going to an ND (Naturopath) to evaluate your health & risk factors and get on a plan with diet, supplementation, exercise, and medication as needed.

A Tasty and Effective Way to Boost My Omega-3 Intake!
After using the lemon-flavored Omega-3 oil for while now, I can confidently say it’s been a positive addition to my daily routine. While I don’t typically expect much excitement from a supplement like this, I’ve been genuinely impressed with how easy it has been to take. What I Loved: Pleasant Lemon Flavor: The lemon flavor is a game-changer. I’ve tried several Omega-3 oils before, and the fishy aftertaste always bothered me. However, this version has a subtle citrus flavor that’s refreshing and makes it much easier to take. There’s no strong fishy taste, and I appreciate that I can take it without any discomfort or bad aftertaste. No Digestive Issues: One of the biggest concerns I’ve had with other fish oils in the past is stomach upset, but this one has been gentle on my stomach. No indigestion, no burping—it’s been smooth from start to finish. This alone makes it stand out compared to some other options I’ve tried. Feels Like a Good Supplement: While it’s hard to pinpoint exact changes, I do feel like it’s contributing positively to my overall well-being. I’ve felt a steady boost in my energy and focus, and I’m confident the Omega-3s are playing a role in that. I’ve also noticed a slight improvement in my joint flexibility, which I wasn’t expecting. High Quality: The quality of this product is evident. It feels like a premium supplement, and I’ve had no concerns about the source or purity of the oil. The product seems to deliver what it promises without any artificial additives or unpleasant surprises. What Could Be Better: Price: The only thing that stands out is the price—it is a bit higher than some other Omega-3 oils on the market. However, given the taste, quality, and the fact that it’s easy on my stomach, I don’t mind the extra cost too much. Final Thoughts: Overall, I’m giving Nordic Naturals Omega-3 in lemon flavor a solid 5 stars. It’s a high-quality product that’s easy to take, gentle on the stomach, and has a pleasant flavor that makes taking fish oil something I actually look forward to. While the price might be a little high, it’s worth it for the quality and comfort this product offers. It’s been a great addition to my daily health routine.

Fresh Lemon Flavor Without the Fishy Taste
I really like this Omega-3 because the lemon flavor makes it much easier to take. It has a light, pleasant taste and I don’t get the strong fishy aftertaste or odor that I’ve experienced with other fish oil products. The liquid format is also convenient, and the bottle is easy to use as part of my daily routine. I appreciate the quality of the product and the added lemon flavor. Overall, this is a great option if you want an omega-3 supplement but don’t like the typical fishy taste.

Fish oil that tastes like fish oil
I feel like I need to warn you all that this tastes like fish oil. It seems to be a high quality product and I love that it doesn't have any unnecessary ingredients, but I have been consistently taking it for a few months and I struggle to swallow it every time I take a dose. I am not a picky eater or sensitive to different flavors in any way (I actually love flavors that many people find repulsive). You will also burp up fish oil so be sure to take it before a meal to help with that a little. I love to eat oily fish so I didn't think I would care too much about guzzling fish oil, but it is pretty off-putting. I am making it work, but this is fish oil, people! It is pretty gross.

It works to lower cholesterol and triglycerides
I take one tablespoon daily and after 3 months this has lowered my cholesterol by 50 points and the same for my triglycerides. So it is worth it for me. Much better than taking a scary Statin. The directions are for 1 tsp daily but that didn’t make any difference. It does not really have any flavor, lemon or otherwise. So it isn’t horrible or delicious, it is just neutral. It is the first thing I take every morning.

Great option vs capsules
This is a great way to get Omega-3 if you have trouble taking the large capsules. There is no fishy taste or burps and the lemon flavor is not overpowering. This is my favorite brand so far.

Essential Addition to My Daily Routine
In my quest for comprehensive nutrition, I turned to this Omega-3 fish oil supplement to complement my daily multivitamin, which lacks this essential nutrient. Here's my experience with this: Pros: The user-friendly design of the packaging makes incorporating Omega-3 into my routine a breeze. The bottle and cap are secure, ensuring the freshness and quality of the oil. I appreciate that it's not overly bulky, making it easy to store in a spare space of my fridge, maintaining its potency. Cons: Let's address the elephant in the room – the taste. It's fish oil, and let's be honest, it's not a culinary delight. However, it's entirely palatable, and considering the health benefits, the taste is a small compromise. The quantity needed per day is minimal, making the experience bearable. While the taste might not be something to savor, it's a minor inconvenience given the effectiveness of consuming it in this pure oil form as opposed to traditional pill or capsule forms. Tip: To enhance the overall experience, I recommend storing the fish oil in the fridge. Not only does this help mask the distinctive taste, but it also ensures the oil stays fresh. It's a simple step that makes incorporating this supplement into your routine a more pleasant experience. In conclusion, if you're looking to fill the Omega-3 gap in your daily nutrition and are willing to overlook the taste for the sake of effectiveness, this fish oil supplement is a reliable choice. The easy-to-use packaging and the added tip of refrigeration contribute to a hassle-free experience. While the taste might not win any awards, the health benefits make it a worthwhile addition to your daily routine. I'm satisfied with the results, and the minor taste inconvenience is a small price to pay for the overall health benefits.

Not bad
I bought this for my son, but he only got to use it for two days. Unfortunately, the bottle was made of glass, and it fell from his hand and broke. My son really liked the taste of it. Even though I spent a good amount of money on it, I couldn't use it much. However, the product itself was of good quality and effective. I recommend it to everyone, but please keep it out of reach of children due to the glass bottle.
