When you pick up one of our handcrafted Real Pies you will notice it feels heavy, that’s because it is ‘crammed to the crust’ with mouthwateringly tender chunks of meat in a lovely rich gravy. You can’t hurry a masterpiece so the meat in our pies is slow-cooked to make it succulent and tasty. It’s all wrapped up with a light puff pastry top and a shortcrust base made to the family recipe. With a delicious shortcrust pastry base and light puff pastry lid, this pie is an indulgent example of this English classic, and the hand-diced beef that we use makes it extra special. Excellent comfort foot and a hearty meal for the whole family, Steak & Kidney pie will always produce smiles around the dinner table. Delivery Details We bake to order, therefore, your pies are freshly prepared the day before dispatch. Order before 10am on Monday for delivery at the end of the same week. Orders after 10am and before Thursday 10am will be delivered by the middle of the following week. Deliveries arrive in a protective insulated box. Your Pies will keep fresh in this box for up to 48 hours. If you can’t be at home to receive your order you can request your package be left in a safe place at your address. Cooking & Storage Details: Keep refrigerated, below 5°C. Remove outer packaging. Place in a preheated oven, Bake at 200°C/ Mark 6 for 15-20 mins or until piping hot. Suitable for home freezing, freeze within use-by date. Use within 12 months. Either thaw fully and heat as above or heat from frozen at 180°C ( Mark 6) for 40-50 minutes, or until piping hot. Do not re-freeze.
