Hormel Compleats Spaghetti & Meat Sauce, 7.5 Oz

A while back I discovered Hormel Compleats. Yes, that's the correct spelling. One of Amazon's providers sells them at a very reasonable price, so I've tried and enjoyed about a half dozen different entrees. Each box contains 5-6 entrees, all the same variety, and different sellers list them at different prices, so search out the prices. They all run about 9 oz I believe, and there is a good variety. Some (I like the meatloaf) come with a side of potatoes, while the pastas come as the entire serving. They literally take ONE MINUTE in the microwave, but I usually add about 30 seconds so it will still be good and hot by the time it gets to the table! The spaghetti with meat sauce is rich and saucy and seasoned well in my opinion, especially tasty if you add a sprinkle of parm! The Alfredo pasta is rich and creamy, with plenty of sauce. They make a nice size entree to go with a salad or vegetable. I've been paying less than $13 for most of my cartons, so that's only about $2 and change for an entree'. I'm finished rambling. These meals are absolutely delicious! You open them up, put them in the microwave for just under a couple of minutes, and they are perfect, not only for the children, but for the adults as well. I always have these on hand and everyone seems to enjoy them.

Not bad flavor but a bit dry

I'm pretty sensitive, and trying different kinds of microwave meals I could eat stouffers spaghetti dinner, but this one hurt my tummy. Flavor is eh, amount is just ok. Dunno if others will have same trouble, I have no idea why I'm sensitive to one and not the other, but there it is. If it hadn't hurt my tummy it was still kind of a 3 out of 5.

For the price of a meal it's worth it to keep my kids fed..Thanks Trump for wrecking the economy

My mother took a fall and ended up in a nursing home without her dentures! She couldn't stand any of the food they made her and since she didn't have teeth to eat it with it was all pureed or soft mechanical so she didn't eat. So I bought this Hormel Compleats as well as the tender beef and meatloaf and they were perfect for her. Soft enough for her to "chew" without her teeth and tasty enough for her to want to eat them. I really feel they helped save her from becoming under nourished. Only caution, is watch where you purchase, I paid anywhere from $2.25 to over $3.00 a meal depending on where I could find the ones she liked in stock. Thank you!

I've tried most of the not-immediately-suspect Hormel Compleats, and the spaghetti + meat sauce was, hands down no contest, the absolute worst.When I say it tasted like Bhopal on a bad day, if you don't know what I'm referring to, don't look it up, just don't buy this.Chemical death flavor is the only description I can find appropriate.It's odd, since the Hormel turkey & chicken Compleats are far more edible, and don't even taste like you're being slowly poisoned by industrial chemicals, even though you are a little bit.

I really like the flavor this has. I make it at home for myself so I boil a little extra spaghetti to add to it. It has plenty of sauce for my liking and gives me a little bigger meal that way. I just cook both and place on a plate.
