With only 4 standard USB ports and 1 USB C-type port on a new PC, I felt I needed more plug-in space for peripherals I’ll be adding. This multi-port was perfect for that need, and the price was reasonable. Also, it picked and shipped quickly, arriving BEFORE the start of the forecasted shipping window’s start.

Compactness: I needed something small and functional for the rock and setup so that all the guys could connect Portable: Really small, lightweight, takes up about as much space as the wireless guitar dongles. Connectivity: 4 player game: 4 ports. Couldn’t offer more: we didn’t need more.

Does the job. I have USB flash drive, wireless mouse, and printer connected through this to my surface pro. Previously I had to remove one to connect another, very inconvenient. Glad I made the purchase.

Computer crashes - I lose all my data on the laptop, so now I use a flash drive for ALL my critical files. Then, I damaged a flash drive twice - once the laptop did an update when I had stepped away and it corrupted a major excel file I have used for years. Then from constant tugging on the flashdrive to pull it out of the laptop, I have the metal plug in for the port barely alive on the flashdrive, just enough for me to transfer to a newer flash drive. Now when I step away from the laptop, I unplug the flashdrive from my laptop - so I got the HUB that can take all the abuse of constant plugging in and unplugging. Just trying ways to save my critical data.
