Great Basic Fly Box
This is a great little fly box. I have two of them now, one for nymphs and one for dry flies and streamers. It fits nicely into a fishing vest pocket, it holds the flies well, and it seals tightly when closed.

126 slots for your favorite flies. If you don't have fat fingers like ...
What a deal for the price. 126 slots for your favorite flies. If you don't have fat fingers like myself. Realistically, I don't think anyone would try to fill every slot but if you did yo'd have to use 14's or smaller and you's probably want to use forceps to take them from the box. I use mine for Euro jigs and nymphs. I is slightly large than an iphone 5 and about three times as thick. So if you aren't wearing a vest it fit perfectly in a fishing shirt pocket. I've had no problem either from the hinge or the lock. The seal has worked though I haven't dropped it in. It has gone swimming with me a few times, as either the rivers are getting rockier or I'm getting clumsy in my old age and I fall in several times each outing anymore. No it's not a high dollar box but it does a very good job at what it's supposed to do........hold your flies. It's size makes it perfect for carrying what most people would consider a reasonable amount of flies for a days fishing. Or if you are like me and carry WAY too many flies it allows you to carry many boxes at a very low price. If you are a small stream Brook Trout fisherman, leave the vest a home. Stick this baby in you pocket and head for the hills, you can carry all the flies you need and then some.

Great little boxes. Fits into a pocket
Snaps and boxes are durable. Inside foam is not. I will need to find a better foam and replace it at the end of the season, donโt heal up enough for constant use.

Does Exactly What Itโs Supposed To Do. Thumbs Up.
Thereโs something refreshing about gear that just quietly does its job without trying to reinvent fly fishing. The Flies Direct Waterproof Fly Box is exactly that. It keeps flies dry. It seals tight. It stays closed. End of story. The waterproof seal gives real peace of mind when youโre wading deep or tossing it in a pack that might get wet. Iโve had boxes that โclaimโ waterproof and end up turning into tiny aquariums. This isnโt that. It keeps moisture out and your flies protected. The interior holds flies securely without tearing them up, and it opens and closes smoothly without feeling flimsy. Itโs not flashy โ itโs functional. And sometimes thatโs the highest compliment. It just does the job itโs supposed to do. Thumbs up. Five stars.

Worth every Cent
Got this is addition to a few other things i needed for my next Fly fishing outing: and it's incredible to say the least... I tested it out with dry flies in it, and stuck it 5 and a half feet underwater(well beyond how far it would ever get anyways) as a pressure test to see if the seals held up. Of course they did and I'm very pleased with the foam quality and overall build quality of this little box. holds all the favorite flies ill need for a longer trip and keeps everything in side dry as can be! The only addition to this box i would personally make is some sort of way to tether it to you if you chose to, it's very buoyant and if it got away from you it would sail away very quickly. other than that Spot on. Tight lines everyone! Cheers

A great box for my nymphs
This is my second Flies Direct Waterproof Fly Box ( I lost, then re-found my first one!) It works great for my nymphs, is very sturdy, waterproof, and easy to use. I had my first one for over a year and it saw heavy use. Even after being lost on a river bank for over two weeks, the box still looks great and the inside was dry. (Yup, my buddy happened to step on it in the weeds of the bank, thus we found it!) Now I have two. I use part of one side for larger nymphs, and they take up two spaces, but those are generally size 10 and up. I highly recommend this box for smaller flies and nymphs.

Nice size for vest pockets.
Solid plastic case. Flat foam may be a little hard on dry fly hackles. Could use a place to attach a safety line.

Good little box
Seems like a good box for some flies. Definitely not gonna be able to put a ton in it, but it's perfect for carrying your favorites when you don't want to bring too many. Mine stays in the bottom of my rucksack pretty much every day with other hard cases and such, thus far no issues with durability. Only downside is there's no loop for a lanyard for carabiner, not a big deal for me. Run this one and a little shirt pocket case and you'll be good to go. Sat on the boat overnight during some pretty heavy rain and opened it the next day to find all off my flies we're perfectly dry. Make sure the seal is laying flat where it's supposed to be and you won't have any issues with water getting in unless you're submerging it for a while.
