How long does the 40ml last compared to the 100ml? Unsure which one is better value

It doesn’t really matter to be honest; you won’t be able to smell anything whatever the size. It’s very weak.

Are these supposed to have bottle seals on? My bottle doesnt and looks like it's been diluted with water. How oily are they meant to be?

It didn’t have a seal is it is a refill. It smells pretty strong, is reasonably watery and doesn’t seem to be too oily. I does work as a reed diffuser liquid- I’m on to my second and didn’t feel I was getting an inferior product.

Do you remove the disc from the lid or do you pierce it to put the reeds through?

it's a plastic screwtop - don't know if you could - I have decorative containers & decant the oil using a filter .......
