Great practice. Short bursts of practice on word problems to help with maths vocabulary and confidence. Might consider it easy for Grade 3 but we can finish it quickly and move on to Grade 4 with a lot interest and confidence in the tank

Perfect for extra learning
I have purchased multiple Kimon books and they keep my 9 year old ahead for the upcoming grade. So the summer before 3rd grade, I got third grade books to familiarize him with things before school. It helps so much to have it to do pages during the school year too as extra homework when he’s struggling on a certain skill.

Great Guidance
Every summer I buy workbooks for my two boys. This year I chose Kumon, I purchase the whole collection of Grade 4 for my son going into 4th grade and the whole collection of Grade 3 (thinking Grade 2 would be too easy) for my son going into 2nd grade. Later on I found that my younger son had difficulties in some areas in Grade 3 so I bought Grade 2. This has been a great guidance for my kids and I. The books helped my kids learn step by step and I really do see improvements. Its great for me, I simply use the answer sheet to correct and it helps me find out what their weaknesses are. Overall I really like Kumon workbooks compare to previous companies that I have purchased because I do see improvements. Next year I will purchase Kumon again.

Great, but don't like that each page is titled with what type of math it is.
Pretty good. There's only one thing I don't like about these books. Every page is titled at the top of what kind of math it's going to be. For example, it will say "Addition and Subtraction", or "Multiplication", etc. I want my child to be able to determine for himself what type of math he will need to do, by reading the problem and understanding it.
