I've been using these for a few years now and they work really well. Even when I wash new clothes that have color may transfer warnings with white clothes with these sheets in the load they catch the color. I do use more than one sheet when there is a color warning the first time I wash the clothes but after the first wash even with just one of these it works well. Also when I wash extremely linty clothes these sheets trap the lint very well and keep it from getting on other clothes.

I've started the hobby of quilting and I love the look of using white or light colors within a darker colored quilt. These Color Catchers are terrific at absorbing the loose dye within the washing machine when a quilt is washed for the first time. Instead of the white coming out muted because the dye absorbed into the white fabric, the white remains white because the Color Catcher does exactly what it is named to do. The darks can do their "bleeding" and the whites don't have to suffer for it. No prewashing of fabric needed! These are also really great for overly dirty regular clothing. Say you are a mechanic or a farmer who gets lots of dirt on your clothing. These absorb excess dirt so it doesn't stay on your clothing. And.... you get 72 of these Color Catchers for a very reasonable price! It's a win!

They start out white like the photo shows next to the 2 red ones. Look for the red sheets in the pics - proof they work !! I did not know that this red shirt got tangled in my colored laundry pile. I normally use these sheets, but this time is vivid photo proof -so showing you here ! 2 sheets so red that you can see the whites and the pinks and the other colors in this load do not even remotely look discolored let alone pink. Every load of laundry I do I use one sheet at a time unless it is a very colorful load then I’ll use two as in this case. Good thing !! I would’ve had some very unhappy people with that white Nike shirt and those white shorts that were all washed together. My college daughters use these for each load regardless to save $$$$ when they do laundry since they pay per washing load the more they can throw in the better they don’t sort. one to two sheets per load depending on preference or size of load put on top of your clothes or you can throw those in first it does not matter. the washer will move the white sheets around to collect the excessive, dye and trap it from the water surrounding your clothes. You would be surprised what colors these are at the end of each load sometimes they are just dull, gray and dark from a mix load of all colors. Save money whether you pay for laundry or never sort again you’ll win every time. Keep your clothes brighter for longer no gray looking prior white sweatshirts and no pink mistakes here ! throw it all in together and they don’t have a problem the color catcher sheets catch the due to not ruin other laundry for warm or cold water both have worked for me. There are times when I see little dye on the sheets and there are times when they are either blue or green, or in this case red when the laundry is finished washing You’d be surprised how bright & new laundry stays by getting rid of the excessive dye that gets trapped in your other laundry, making it dull or gray or in this case would have been pink. These work amazing!! The two bottom sheets were used in an everyday load of laundry, nothing extremely dirty and this is how the sheets came out. The top sheet is to show the difference and what these picked up in the wash. We have VERY hard water and these removed a lot of the rust. I will continue to buy these!
