Must have tool for maintaining correct valve train alignment.
Works exactly as the repair manual describes it. Easy to use. Hopefully only needed once in the normal lifespan of your timing chain it ensures valves and piston don't attempt to occupy the same space at the same time causing significant damage to the engine. While durable in construction, hopefully won't require frequent use while I'm sure it will hold up over time. Considering the price of misaligned timing, this tool is definately a great value and provides some peace of mind that you'll have done the job right the first time.

Works as it should.
This is the tool you need to set ignition and cam timing on a 2.3 mazda engine (Ford engine) The crank is not keyd so as soon as you loosen the crank bolt it is out of time. The only modification I did to the tool was drill and tap 2 holes in the bar to store the 2 crank stop bolts. (The short one is for the 2.3)

Easy to use
Product is very easy to use when doing timing belts on Ford 2.0, worked great for finishing up my timing belt project.

2003 Mazda cx-7good Quality alignment tool lined every thing up perfectly
This tool is pretty straight forward had no problem using it lined up every thing perfectly you need this tool because the harmonic balancer does not have a key way to lock it in place the Harmonic balancer on these Mazda/fFord engines are a tightened fit meaning when you tightened the Harminic Balancer bolt thats when the Harmonic balancer is locked in place so if you're not familiar with this engine like me this tool will do the job very simple to use.

Saved our repair
Removed harmonic balancer for replacement on a 07 Mazda 6(non turbo) without knowing it was timed with the crank position sensor due to limited information. Installed harmonic back due to incorrect part and was getting codes for timing. Ordered TDC pins and rescheduled repair. Once tool arrived, followed procedures and worked perfect only took 30 mins.
