I have done several batches with this pitter; the largest being 8#. It is easy to use and even easier to clean. It works extremely well for what it is. The cherries do not always auto feed down the chute. Softer cherries don't auto eject after being pitted. It splatters juice. My rubber gasket tore on the large batch but I still managed to finish just fine. Not a single thing so far was enough of a problem for me to whine that this isn't a great product. Our local cherry harvest is just weeks away and I intend to pit 50# to can using this product. The cherries come out whole and beautiful for presentation in pies, fruit bowls, and dessert topping. For the price, you really can't go wrong with this purchase. Just order extra gaskets if you're really going to put it to use!

Utilisé dès réception, cet outil est facile d'utilisation, de bon rendement avec peu de manutentions des fruits, et donc les mains reste immaculées. Toutefois, il arrive qu'une cerise reste coincée et qu'il faille aider l’éjection avec le manche d'une petite cuillère. 3 noyaux seulement sont passés au travers et se sont retrouvés dans la bassine de confiture sur deux kg de cerises cuits : soit une réussite supérieure à 99,9 % ! Que demander de + ?

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per vedere di velocizzare la preparazione della marmellata di ciliegie, tanto buona ma anche tanto impegnativa per snocciolare la frutta, oltre che molto "sporchevole". Qualche recensione negativa mi faceva un poco dubitare, ma siccome più che altro era nei riguardi delle olive, per le quali non la userò mai, ci ho provato. Il risultato è stato eccezionale! A parte il solito arrivo perfetto da parte di Amazon, l'ho usato ieri in maniera decisamente importante, dopo una prova con poche ciliegie. Ho snocciolato 1,6 kg di ciliegie in 6 minuti cronometrati! E solo 8 noccioli sono rimasti ugualmente all'interno del frutto. Io non posso che consigliarlo. Ho messo 4 stelle sulla sua durata e resistenza nel tempo sulla fiducia (e nella speranza!), visto che l'ho usato una volta sola.

Just moved into house with large cherry tree and this gadget was very easy to use and clean. Enabled me to bake pies, freeze pitted fruit, bake cakes etc. Was even effective in pitting frozen fruit and defrosted fruit. Needs little bit of attention to ensure cherries fall into pitting space but otherwise very quick and value for money.
