Great Phone!
After looking at many phones to replace my old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which was becoming problematic, I decided on this one. Even though it wasn't like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, which my wife got for Christmas from Verizon which had a great deal going on, this phone to me was also a great deal because I only paid $355 for it. I have T-Mobile service and this phone works perfectly with my carrier. The description was accurate for it also. Plenty of internal memory 128gb, I have a 64gb micro sim in it, it's also running Android 10. So far, so good! Big display, and I'm getting used to all the features that it offers. Nice camera also with lots of options. Battery life is one of the best features of this phone. 4500mAh, enough for the whole day and then some. I haven't used the face recognition or the fingerprint reader yet, but don't expect any problems with those anyway. Seems like I made the right choice! There's nothing wrong with getting an international phone either. You shouldn't be stuck having to get a phone from one of the US carriers, that limit your selection, and has you paying higher prices. Even though this phone is Samsung's mid level "a" series, your saving a bunch of money and in my opinion, won't even notice any differences. The only problem that I had, however, was that when I received the phone the shipping box wasn't packed properly and when I opened the box, the phone was laying outside of it's box and so were most of the accessories that it came with! I immediately contacted Amazon, and the customer rep fully understood my concern, and told me that for any reason I could return it within 1 month for a full refund. But in conclusion, I set it up, it works fine and I'm having a good time with it. Enjoy!! I read some of the other reviews posted, and can't believe what some people have said. One review said that the phone is not 4G, it definitely is. Even if it doesn't show a "4G" icon on top, it is. Mine says LTE or LTE+. If you google it, that is 4G. In another review, the person mentioned that the battery only lasts half a day and gets very hot. My phone lasts for about a day in a half and I have no issue with excessive heat. Again, for less than $400, you can't go wrong.

Overall a very good phone but a few problems
Phone is very fast--web pages load almost instantly. The main two cameras are very good (haven't tried the macro), although I haven't tried them at night. The screen is beautiful, bright and pretty good outside. The fast charging is great, but battery is big enough that I usually don't need it that much. It took me about 40 tries before I was finally able to register a fingerprint, and then the phone usually wouldn't recognize it when I tried to log in. Edit: turned out the factory applied screen protector was causing the problem. With no screen protector, fingerprint reader works great! Facial recognition worked most of the time, but failed often enough that I quit using it. This phone also appears to not work with Samsung Pay-- Play store says not compatible. Google Pay does install and works just fine. It appears that you can't use wifi calling on the international version. It's grayed out. One thing that bothers me is that Samsung didn't enable haptic feedback-- even my cheapo Moto E5 had that. But I'm mostly very happy with the phone so far.... Note: just found out that this phone will not work on AT&T after February 2022. It will work fine on T-mobile, although it does lack T-mobile's band 71, which is becoming more important in rural areas. If you are on Consumer Cellular using their AT&T sim, call them and ask them to send you a sim that uses T-mobile towers, and your phone will continue to work after the 3g shutdown.

Decent android phone
Decent android phone for a good price. Bought this for my grandpa, was easy enough for him to use, has a decent camera and good amount of storage and ram to run smoothly

Probably one of the best sub $400 phones money can buy.
This is a great midrange device for the money. Coming from Galaxy S10+, I switched to cricket and needed something comparable so I chose this. I don't really find myself missing anything from the S10+, save the IPX rating. The screen is beautiful on this thing. Great color, and adjustable. Much better than most devices in this price range. The camera quality isn't gonna match an S20, but honestly it takes some very good photos. I've been pretty impressed, and personally I am a fan of the macro lense. Battery life is pretty solid. I get through a whole day of regular use with 40-60% left. A+ here Samsung. Sound quality is decent. It's a single blaster from the bottom, so lay your expectations there, but THERE'S A HEADPHONE JACK. for some this isn't a big deal, but I like to use headphones and I'm not a fan of trying to deal with wireless buds. I always forget to charge them. In screen fingerprint reader is pretty "meh." I saved multiple copies of the same finger and it greatly improves scan accuracy, but I really wish Samsung would have just went with an old style reader on the back panel. They're much faster and more convenient. Samsung only let's you have three saves for fingerprints with this device, which is also frustrating. Nit picky things include Samsung UI irritations. They press their services hard, which I understand, but id also like the freedom to opt out and stick with my Google services. It's not a huge inconvenience, but it adds an additional step or two when navigating certain tasks. Overall I'd recommend this device to anyone. It's got great specs, and it's a solid product.

Excellent mid-tier phone
I upgraded from a Galaxy S5, I know I'm slow, but I am cheap and don't need the fanciest gadgets available. This phone blows away the S5, not even a comparison really. So much more memory, faster processor, and smooth operating system. The large bright display is great, easily readable in bright daylight. Headphone jack is a must, and with Dolby Atmos music and videos are a joy to listen to. The built in speaker is a bit lame, but still miles ahead of my old phone. Cameras are very nice, I take a lot of micro photos, more than most, since I work in manufacturing and often have to get close up, detailed shots of parts for explanation or trouble shooting, although I see where most people wouldn't necessarily need that feature but I use it a lot. All the other cameras work as expected and are very good. I would have liked to have a 4th fingerprint since 3 gives me two thumbs and one first finger, I would sometimes like my left first finger depending on how I am holding the phone. Sometimes the reader doesn't recognize my print, but it is easy enough to just scan again. I can't compare it to a new flagship phone since I don't have one, but for me this phone is a major upgrade and I am very happy with it.

Flagship Features at a Feasible Finance
The Samsung Galaxy A71 is the top of the line of Samsung's A-Series phones, and boy does it live up to that title. Let me first say I previously had a Samsung Galaxy A20, which was a really good phone for the price, but I desired more. The A71 has some really good qualities that are a welcome surprise at the price point. Let me start off with the design: The Galaxy A71 is an all plastic build, but do not be scared away by this fact. The plastic back has a really good feel in the hand and has a psychidelic glow in bright conditions. It feels really sturdy in the hand, yet it is slippery like glass (a case is highly recommended). Moving on, you get some cool things that are even forgotten on the flagships. You get a headphone jack! Yup you heard me! I do not care how many people say headphone jacks are extinct; so many audio devices still use 3.5mm and are really good quality. A nice plus when you need that Aux control. The fingerprint sensor is under the display! Its pretty solid, not the fastest but once you get used to it, it works flawlessly. Always on Display! Love having this and coming from a cheap phone it is real nice to see my notifications and the time without turing the screen on. You get 25W fast charging, which the power brick for this charging speed is actually included in the box! Super happy with the charging speeds. No dual speakers, to be expected at a midrange price. The single bottom firing speaker is loud and gets the job done. The display is by far the most enticing factor of the phone. You get a big, bright, crisp 1080p OLED display that is really nice to look at (I am definitely a pixel peeper, on my A20 I noticed individual pixels a lot. Not the case with this phones display). No notch aswell! Only the non intrusive hole punch cutout which is really great compared to a teardrop notch. The battery is great. But do not only look at numbers. Sure it is a 4500mah battery but keep in mind the big high quality display will drain a little battery especially at high brightness. Still a wonderful battery performer though. The cameras are good. 64MP shots look great and crisp. Ultrawide cam is good, definitely better than A20. Depth sensor is a depth sensor. It works. Macro cam is meh. Not really impressed w the macro mode. Needs a really specific distance from the subject so a point and shoot isnt really possible which could cause problems if you need the shot instantly. Selfie cam is fine and will suit your needs! All cameras SUFFER in low light. With lots of light these cameras have unlimited potential. Video surprised me. 4K video on the main cam is really nice! Smooth and crisp. Night mode is ok. Not Google Pixel level but still good to have. Processing and overall speed is amazing. SD 730 chip and 6gb of ram is plenty for the average user. Gaming is still possible but do keep your expectations realistic. Ships with Android 10. As far as accessories included you get the 25w super fast charger like stated before, which is awesome to see. You get a clear case which is awesome aswell. Free protection! Pre installed screen protector comes with, it will get you by just fine. Has Samsung headphones, not AKG but not the cheap crap ones either. Sounds good and has inline controls. Overall the A71 is amazing so far for the price. Such a different experience from cheap phones, you feel like a valued customer who actually gets some useful features in your phone without breaking the bank. Highly highly recommend this phone to anyone with a lower end A-Series Samsung or any older crappy android, while not wanting a 1000 dollar phone. Join the wave of big screens and lots of cameras, you won't be disappointed.

Very Happy with purchase
***UPDATE 11 Months*** So, I did eventually replace the screen protector and the fingerprint reader works fine now. I upgraded from 4 to 5 Stars. I still love the phone. I do think the recent updates caused issues with WiFi calling on T-Mobile but it seems to be working now. This phone has been my daily mobile device for two weeks now and I am delighted with my purchase. I am on T-Mobile in the US (South Florida) and it works perfectly. I rated the fingerprint reader low because I have not been able to use it. I have tried several times without success. The device I have came with a screen protector and I believe it is interfering with the setup of the biometrics. I have not wanted to peel it off as it is on so perfectly. Eventually, I will buy a new screen protector (that is rated for use with under glass biometrics) and have another go. Even without the fingerprint reader the phone is a delight. the face unlock is very handy. The device is a good size and has a long battery. I don't think I have been below 50% charge in the two weeks I have been using the device. It is as fast as any phone I have used. I refuse to pay the $1000 price tag on flagship devices. I wasn't sure how I would feel about an A series Galaxy device, but I took the plunge and won't be turning back. There is just no reason to spend more than this for a device. I'm convinced that whatever advantages the flagship devices have over this are novalties that disappear from appreciation once the user settles in. I am a 20+ year IT professional who has been buying flagship devices for decades. My work is administrative now and I cannot justify the cost of a flagship device. My last phone was the essential phone that I loved so much that I hung on to it for nearly 4 years. This is a major upgrade from that device and the timing couldn't be better. I was specifically looking for a device that didn't compromise on performance, screen quality, camera and features. The device also had to have a flat-screen. I will not buy a phone with a curved screen. They are prone to break and are expensive to replace and they are merely a gimmick. There is no added value with the curved screen that I can perceive. The A71 fit the bill perfectly. I will update in a few weeks after I have the fingerprint reader working and give any other pros and cons that I have found with the extended use.

Disappointed
I bought this phone because I currently had a A70 and it's been a great midrange phone. I've had it for a couple years and never had any major issues with it. I now want to upgrade so I got this A71. I figured one step up would be fine. Don't go with this phone. Right off the bat I had issues transferring my information from my old phone to my new one. It took way longer then my previous samsungs. I'd say about 45mins-hour and then i actually had to redo it because it didn't transfer any of my settings like it was supposed to. That time I didn't transfer any photos or anything extra besides apps (which I don't have much of) and main things. It still took almost an hour. After that I kept noticing a ton of lag with the phone. I would pick up the phone and it would not sense it at all, then I would try to use my finger print or press the power button to unlock it...it would stay black for a couple seconds then open up to the camrea. It just got worse and worse everyday. Then it started doing it with calls, I would be on a call and the screen would go black, I wouldn't be able to turn the screen on to hang up. I read online that I would need to clear the phones cache in the bios (be careful doing this because it can royally mess up your phone if you click the wrong thing). Did that 2 times, each time it helped for about 20 mins then it would lag again. I thought it needed to be updated but no new update. Maybe this isn't the case with every A71 but from what I've read it's becoming more common. I'd say go with the A51, stay with the A70 or with an older gen flagship samsung in my opinion.

GRAN CELULAR, GAMA ALTA A BUEN PRECIO
Recomendado!

Beautiful, affordable and very functional!!
I bought this phone a week ago and I absolutely love it! It got delivered brand new, which was a relief, considering that some people reported receiving a used phone or an empty box. The dual-sim version has two SIM card slots, as advertised, plus a third slot for a micro SD card. I am now using both SIMs for my local and international numbers, plus additional storage space thanks to the micro SD card I bought. In addition, Android has this fantastic feature that allows two WhatsApp accounts, one for each SIM card. In terms of functionality, the phone is really slick and super fast. The screen resolution is excellent, the infinity screen is large, and the camera is of high quality. The phone also has the super-fast charging feature and a finger print lock which actually works very well (contrary to critics made by several reviews I read). The touch screen and keyboard slide perfectly on my fingers and Android 10 is just top notch. This phone is the perfect alternative to the S10 or S20, which are way too expensive for me. So if you want the latest Galaxy experience at an affordable price, this phone is for you. The fancy features a phone like the S20 has on top of this one are great but I was not willing to pay double the price for them (e.g. wireless charging, glass case, 8K video, pro camera lens, top-notch processor, water resistance, etc.) . Overall, great phone and best quality for price!

Best midrange phone there is
I love this phone. It comes at a great price but doesn't compromise on performance. I prefer One UI to vanilla android and have never had a problem with this phones design. It charges quickly, has a strong battery and good cameras. The one thing I think could be improved on at this price point is water/dustproofing. This problem doesn't affect me but I'm sure most people would prefer a waterproof phone. If it meant raising prices by $10 I'd gladly pay that much. Otherwise, for this price I'm blown away by the quality of this phone. The display is bright, high quality, and large. The battery is great, the OS is excellent, the cameras are good, the phone is overall the best value midrange phone there is.

Excelente producto
