3M Privacy Filter Anti-Glare Filter for 23" Widescreen Monitor (AG230W9B),Clear

I've been trying to find a product like this for a while. I use a company provided All-In-One PC at work, so I am unable to replace the glossy monitor built into it. Having any type of black background/dark mode made the screen become a mirror; forcing me to stare at my own reflection and those around me. It was also very strenuous on the eyes. After buying and using this product, I can say the problem was resolved 100%. The adhesive that it ships with is strong enough and works well. and also has several different mounting methods. Reflective screen glare completely gone, the finish is almost paperlike, and NO blurry effect or distortion. I use a 4k 27" monitor and can read every word and see every detail perfectly clear! I wish I had a better review to give me confidence to buy sooner!

while it fit perfectly on my screen, it actually made the glare worse, and I found it harder to read the screen somewhat, the writing is not as sharp and bright with the screen on. Also, the double sided glue strips are visible and get in the viewing way of text and tabs if you have several tabs open. returning to Amazon for full refund.

My home office desk backs up to south facing picture window. Without this anti-glare screen the glare was so bad I had to keep the shades down. Now I can work with the shades up and enjoy the natural light and view of my backyard. Only downside are kind of ugly adhesive tabs that hold the sides in place. Hopefully the adhesive holds up.

As other reviews have stated, the effect of the anti-glare filter is to blur the glare, so that instead of appearing like a mirror image of the environmental light sources it appears as a diffuse haze in front of the image on the computer screen. The anti-glare filter also somewhat blurs the image on the computer screen. The effect, in my opinion, is highly beneficial, making the image on the computer screen much easier to see and making the glare much less distracting. We have two desk-top computers in our household. Having seen how effective this filter is on one of them, I have ordered another filter for the other computer. The product offers two methods for attaching the anti-glare filter to the screen, one with adhesive strips and another with adhesive edge clips. I did not succeed in making the adhesive edge clips work. They pulled off the screen when I was attempting to insert the filter. However, the adhesive strips worked easily.

You have to use a little scotch tape on top, but otherwise it cuts the glare. I would recommend it.

The filter wouldn't stay on the screen. Putting more tabs up to hold it didn't help. Needs a better application design. Filter itself worked great.

Arrived in a ruined packaging without any reference to 3M. Heavily scratched and dented. This appears to be heavily used. Returning.

The screen protector is fine but the instructions say when you put the tape strips on and affix it to the monitor you will not see the tapes. That is not accurate for me. And .... kinda drives me crazy. But at least I can see my screen now because it does block the glare!

Have a glossy dell monitor and the reflections were getting to me, decided to give this anti glare screen a try as it's from 3M and other reviews seem good. However the way the light is refracted from this filter is more than my glossy mirror like screen and causes a headache while using it. If you're planning to use it in a backlit environment, STAY AWAY. Also it seems to degrade the quality of the screen quite a far bit.

El producto encaja perfectamente en lo que buscaba, pero por dos veces consecutivas el producto ha llegado dañado. El paquete exterior perfecto, pero al abrirlo, el filtro y el envoltorio de plástico que lo proteje han llegado con tres perforaciones, que dañaban el producto. En las dos ocasiones ha sido exactamente igual, las mismas perforaciones y en el mismo lugar. Parece que es un defecto de fabricación en alguna serie. He devuelto los dos y, como lo necesito, he pedido un tercero. A ver si ésta es la definitiva...

had to throw this away. The stickers are very visible on the screen once applied but the worst part is the text on the screen became very blurred. I can't use it. Have to live with the glare.
