Sharper Image AXIS 47 Airbar Tower Fan with Remote Control

It must have been defected, so I got it replaced, and boy is it a great fan to have. I use it horizontally in front of the TV, and during this hot summer, it brings a nice cool breeze. This was something that I wanted, but didn't know it existed. Some times you just have to take a chance, and I am glad I did. Thanks Sharper Image.

Love the compact footprint and sleek look! Super quiet compared to other options. Great airflow output. Remote works great. Love that there are no lights on it. Easy to adjust airflow direction and speed. It doesn't oscillate, but That was perfectly fine with me. The only thing that I might have liked is a sleep function to turn off the fan after an couple hours. Great quality and love the versatility.

Love the sleekness of these sharper images towers, I feel I can have it set up in my living room or bedroom and not look like I have some bulky device sitting out. Nice circulation of air. Only complaint is it can be noisy when set to high. I have trained myself to block out the noise so I hardly ever hear it anymore, but I know there are others on the market that are quieter, I just prefer the thinness of these towers.

This fan looks great. One problem though, any setting other than its highest and its internal fans RATTLE like crazy. I would attach a video but it won’t allow me. Attempted 5x

This is exactly what I was looking for! The bad reviews because it doesn't oscillate are stupid. Don't knock a product because you can't read. I live in an older highrise and our AC vents are under the windows. They don't blow the air into the rest of the apartment so it's 10 degrees hotter in the kitchen, hallway and bath than the living and bedroom. So I always have floor fans blowing the air from the AC further into the house. A giant fan on the dining table isn't attractive or practical and a box fan blocking my view defeats the purpose of living here. These fans are perfect! I have one on each AC vent ledge and will be getting at least one more to use upright on the floor. The adjustable feet are spectacular and it's so slim it just blends into the background. Setting 3 is loud enough to use as sleep noise and the other 2 are pretty quiet. I am always hot when the fans aren't on - I like moving air - and I put this upright in the corner across from me in the living room and was cool and comfortable in minutes. The full length fan really covers the room well without taking up any unnecessary space.

Pros: It looks good! remote control The black finish makes it hide between the furniture Not too loud Cons: Stop working in around a year with moderate use! I don't know if that is something fixable, but I will try to send it to someone! I ended up buying another fan for this year, but this was not a bad buy

When I first saw this sleek tower fan, I thought, PERFECT! And it will match the decor! Ordered in Late July. Arrived early June. Wasn't impressed. Low air flow, Does not rotate, and it's not quite! In fact, as time went on, the fan became louder. Now in August, there's a rattling sound and it's supper loud. Making it hard to sleep. I rather just deal with the Electronic bill. Returning this crap.

It blows in one direction only. The fan does not rotate to cover the entire room or at least for a certain degree (80°, 90°, etc). I don't mind the noise, lack of features or everything else that others complained about, but inability to set the fan to rotate is simply a major let down. Product description make vague explanation that seemingly implied the rotating aspect of the fan. Don't buy if u want a rotating tower fan instead.

Even at high setting it's quiet enoughto hear TV without having to crank volume up. It doesn't rotate while blowing, but I don't need that feature.

I've had this for a number of months now and it's becoming too noisy, I'm going to have to toss it and get another one. I have it in a Dental Lab so it is noisy already in the room. definitely wouldn't buy it for the house
