hi, i have carpet in my room and that is where i wan to place the pole. will it be sturdy and strong on the carpet.

yes,I have it in my room with carpet and it is very sturdy :)

I have an apartment, so does this somehow get screwed on the ceiling like how do i go about installing it before buying it just making sure?

hi, you dont need to screw anything. it is a tension rod and suction on both ends.

Does the spin option work in both directions (i.e., clockwise and counter clockwise)?!?

Yes, the way to stop the spinning is by tightening a set screw.

My ceiling is slanted, would this pole be able to be installed? Or does it only work for flat ceilings?

Now I don't have this one, but there is an adapter that you can get for slanted ceilings. If this is built the same as X-pole then it should work fine with it.
