Good light switch
I needed to replace several old light switches in my home. My wife was complaining that sometimes she would go to turn on/off the lights and the switch would go half way and stop, either not turning on or off the light. She was worried that leaving a switch in the "middle" could damage something or worst start a fire. So, I did some research and found that "paddle" type switches had a more positive on and off position. I have used GE products in the past and have been happy with their products. So, I ordered their paddle switches and installed them (some I installed months ago and others more recently). They work perfectly and have had no issues with them.

Great quality, slim, light switch
Very nice and quality switch. Has a very slim backside which allows much more freedom and easy install especially for situations with a full junction box. The switch action itself is very sharp and distinct, some other switches don't have a well defined over center mechanism and can feel soft or as if you didn't fully depress the switch but these do not. Will be my go to switch for lights in my house.

Breaks much too quicky
These work well for awhile and are easy to install. They do not last much more than 1 year before they break.

Nice, Inexpensive, Reliable Light Switches
When I first moved into my rented condo unit a few years ago, it still had almost all the original (1972) light switches and outlets, even though the rest of the place is up-to-date. Given the reasonableness of the rent and my landlord, I offered to change all the old outlets and light switches, an offer he readily accepted. I replaced 7 or 8 light switches with this particular switch. After several years of frequent use, all but two are still functioning like new. IMPORTANT: The two failures, which both were that the rocker button broke off the switch, were absolutely NOT the switches fault. My wife, who grew up in the Soviet Union, uses everything with the finesse of an angry gorilla. She doesn't open and close things; she thrusts them open and smashes them closed as if she were engaged in a WWF match. Thus, light switches are not turned off and on; they are punched into submission. Frankly, I amazed these switches have withstood the abuse. I have tried, with limited success, to tame this "feature" my wife has, which she blames on "nothing in the Soviet Union fitting right." Alas, being only partially successful in my attempts, I must highly commend these switches for standing up to her onslaught and looking good while doing so. Now, if can only find vertical blinds with the same resolve.... At least my wife's aggression is only limited to inanimate things.

Affordable and easy to install
We replaced all the light switches in our house with decorator switches. I bought some GE switches because they were the cheapest at the time. They were easy to install, look nice, and work perfectly. A reliable, budget-friendly option for anyone updating their switches.

awesome
They work, and we are happy. They were purchased to replace the smart (dumb) switches in our home.

Easy to install, looks great, works with Kasa smart switch
I used these GE light switches in my entire house. I swapped all the original toggles to these. I love how smooth they are and how there are no logos on them like Leviton. These probably aren’t the best value but it was important to me to have a reliable switch with a smooth finish. They were easy to install. These also work really well with Kasa smart light switches. I recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their switches especially if you plan to pair it with a Kasa smart switch. I will be ordering these again for my new house!
