I have to say, I'm impressed! I ordered these in February and I live in the NE where we were getting slammed with snowstorms. I wanted to charge them so put them by a slider that I have that faces east - where I get most of the sun all day even in the winter. Yes, they took longer to charge but it wasn't 'that' sunny out - maybe a couple of days but on day #2, I woke up and they were all lit up in a darkened room - LOL - yay! I would reco these all day long. They are pretty and just the right size. I havent' tried to hang them outside yet but I'm sure they'll be fine no matter where I decide to put them. They look very realistic as if a candle is burning inside of them.

These lanterns are great , they look just like the real thing without the hassle, and the danger that could come with having areal flame !! I highly recommend it !! I have left these in my house for 3 days on my TV stand and they have been burning the whole time!! That’s a great battery 👍🏻

I looked out my window just before sunrise and the Tomcare Solar Lights were still on and still flickering, after all night. The really amazing part is that I bought these flickering lanterns 6 years ago, and they still work like new. All the other solar lights and solar feeders I bought over the past years all died after only a year or two, but not Tomcare. THEY ARE TRULY INCREDIBLE! From now on I will purchase only Tomcare Products, because they truly are the best of all.

Nicely Lit and looks great!

Looking out into our back yard, I could see the two rows of these solar lanterns on each side of the sidewalk going out to the burn pit. We bought those back in January of 2022, six in all. These lanterns have a rustic feel, a bygone era, flickering like real flames, and there's a tranquility to seeing them, lining that path. They have all been dangling on those same shepherd hook poles for four and a half years, constantly, fully exposed to all of the elements, fall, winter, spring, and summer, through storms and drought, and we never took them down. After all of that, only one has stopped working. Taking note of that tonight is what prompted my writing this review. Time and the elements have tested these solar lanterns, and they've more than proved their worth. I'm going to order a replacement for the one that stopped working. ____________________________________

This is the second time I bought these work great

Purchased August 23/22. Worked beautifully and brought in for winter couple of months later. Put back outside May 25/23 to charge. After 4 days, none turned on. Messaged TomCare via Amazon May 29/23, June 5/23 and June 8/23. Gave to day end today for response. Have had the lanterns out in full sunlight since May 25/23. None work. According to Amazon, sellers typically respond to messages within 2 business days. TomCare advertises in descriptions when purchased that items are warrantied for 12 months and to “purchase worry-free”. Not true. They have not responded. Buyer beware.

Beautiful and well made. Nice to look at during the day. At night time these lanterns give off a very nice ambiance. Sturdy construction. Well worth the price. Actually thinking of getting another set for my upstairs balcony. Very pleased with this purchase.
