Kamikaze Girls Review: Successfully combine illustration and photo art. - I 100% agree the Editorial Review: "I think it would be fair to say that Stefan considers himself more as an illustrator than a photographer, although he obviously can make really stunning photos." Not only pure illustration style but also true. Strong representation power. Deep impact on my vision. Review: GET IT - This is one of the most unusual but artistically excellent and enticing art book I have. Personally if you like this sort or art you'll like this.

Surreal, Sexy, Stupendous!!!
Kamikaze Girls is a highly imaginative vision of the female nude. An artist, an illustrator, and a photographer, Stefan Gesell seemingly paints his nude subjects into existence, right into the image sensor of his digital camera. It's a kaleidoscopic journey into sumptuous naked flesh, dreamlike use of color, and breathtaking light. Although nudes make up a significant amount of this work, it does contain a fair amount of surreal, sexually inspired non-nudes too.

The artistic level of this book is through the roof. I'd say for it's price it's undervalued and I suggest everyone to take this deal. Every photo has a mystic scifi or gothic atmosphere and all-in-all this book is very enjoyable.
