Extremely easy to use. A couple dabs and the stylus is perfectly clean. Small form factor so it stores easily but large enough to grip and use confidently.

Works even better than I anticipated. This really grabs the gunk off of the stylus well. A couple of touches of the stylus and it’s as clean as a whistle. I highly recommend this!

Great product, does an amazing job of cleaning my microline stylus which picks up every microscope hair in its way I candy think of anything I've used that works better and nothing is safer for your expensive stylus... but it seems to be just about all used up after about 50 uses. Now to be fair I have not looked into cleaning it yet and honestly im kind of afraid of destroying it if I clean it wrong? Great product but a little pricey for what it is and I dont know how long I can continue to find a clean spot on it.

It's a simple win-win. My stylus is an Audio Technica in the $50 range. Not a super-nice one, but it's still a replacement expense I would rather not have. My record player is in use for a large part of most days. I thoroughly clean every record before it is used. Before I had the Stylus Cleaning Gel, I used a stylus brush after every few records to get the crud off of the stylus, and stylus' were wearing out very consistently after 4 months of use. I have been using this cleaner after every record for 6 months so far, and there is no sign of wear on the stylus. Specific care steps that I take: - Clean each record before use (Spin-Clean kit) - Use the Stylus Cleaning Gel after each record and rinse the Cleaning Gel with water after approximately 20-30 records (about once per week for me) - Each time I rinse the Cleaning Gel (every 20-30 records), I use a sonic stylus cleaner (it is marketed as "UV Stylus Cleaner," but "UV" in the product description is deceptive - the acting physics are based on the vibration, not the light). This is a little more harsh, but should dislodge anything that the Cleaning Gel didn't easily pull off of the stylus. Unlike a stylus cleaning brush, this product is non-intrusive, so I can use it more often without the downside of adding wear-and-tear to the stylus. You have to be a little careful that the record player platter does not move while applying the product, but that is easy enough to avoid if you're paying attention.

Can be useful for all styluses. Need to be gentle and drop tone arm onto Gel.

I have been using this product to clean the stylus on my Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge and am very pleased with the results despite my initial scepticism. Close inspection of the stylus after cleaning using a loupe shows that the vast majority of debris is safely removed leaving no residue. I would definitely recommend this product over the more expensive versions on the market.

I bought this stylus cleaner as it looked like a cheaper alternative to the Onzow Zero Dust or DS Audio cleaner, which both use a similar concept. It’s cheaper for a reason - it doesn’t work! A stylus cleaner has only one job - to clean your stylus. This doesn’t do that, and in fact makes your stylus dirtier! The gel used used here is sticky, and leaves your stylus coated in a residue which attracts more dust. You can test this very easily - just run your finger over the gel, and you will notice a tacky, sticky film covering your finger. At best, this will ruin your records. At worst, it will ruin your stylus and cartridge. Keep this as far away from your stylus as possible, and pay the little bit extra for a quality cleaner.

Promptly delivered. A wee bit larger than expected(in a good way), and very tacky. I don’t yet know how long it will stay this way, but having used this item for a couple of weeks, I would recommend the hudson hifi stylus cleaner over the onzow zerodust(yes i also have one of these). Both are good products that do the job, but the hudson is my preferred stylus cleaner.
