There are SO many baby monitors out there these days.. I had a different monitor (Infant Optics), prior to bringing my son home, but I quickly realized it wasn't going to meet my needs as a parent of two! I didn't like NOT being able to SEE both babies at the same time. So I started asking friends and researching for a split screen monitor, and was pointed toward the BabySense monitor. It comes with two monitors, non-wifi, and everything can be done directly from the parent unit. Tilting/Panning cameras, light adjusting, volume, music/white noise, and more.. While the sound can switch back and forth or stay on one single camera, the parent unit shows BOTH babies. It also has an option for sound alerting (doesn't work for us because we use a sound machine but most new mothers become light sleepers as it is). Fast forward almost a year, one of the cameras started to get "hazy" and the video quality was deteriorating. I contacted BabySense through Amazon and explained the situation. A representative gave me some troubleshooting instructions, which I gladly tried. Unfortunately they still didn't work and after a couple of attempts the Rep apologized for the inconvenience and promptly sent a new camera. I got the new camera within a few days and attempted to set it up.. this time the parent monitor kept shutting off and wouldn't turn back on. I tried some of the troubleshooting solutions the Rep had showed me on how to reset the monitor, but still nothing. I reached back out and within a few days I was sent a new Parent Monitor! If you've gotten thus far in my story thanks for hanging in there with me but I want to express how much I LOVE this monitor. I give it a 5 Star rating and their costumer service a 6 star rating for being prompt, personable and fast acting! With ALL of that being said, you won't regret the purchase of a BabySense (2 camera) Monitor!

This is a pretty good price, glad I bought it. I love that it shows the temperature and the picture is clear enough I can see my child breathing. The battery lasts for several hours but you have to keep it plugged in at night otherwise you'll wake in a panic because the low battery sound is loud and you can't turn it off. The camera also didn't turn down far enough to see my childs crib so I had to put a small towel under it to point it further down. Other than that, I like this unit and would buy again Update: I've had this monitor for about 10 months and it's worked great until recently. My monitor started having problems and one of the cameras wouldn't register the temperature. I contacted the seller and they called me back within a day. After some quick troubleshooting, the tech determined i needed a new monitor and camera so he mailed them out immediately. I received them within a few days and everything works perfect now. I'm changing my review to 5 stars for the amazing customer service. Highly recommend!

When my baby was born, I bought a bunch of stuff to see what would work best to monitor her. I wont mention other brands, but some were around the 100 dollar mark per camera, plus system. So I spent a hefty amount of money trying to figure which was best. When I hired a nanny, she asked if there was a simple monitor that could work while the baby was asleep and she needed to go to the bathroom or whatever, and that's when i stumbled upon the baby sense SINGLE monitor. It seemed simple enough to set up and easy for her or any other future nanny to use. I will tell you one thing: it became the winning, most used, most reliable one. Reasons why i love this monitor: 1. the eco mode works incredibly. 2. It has a great range 3. its not expensive (get it on discount days) 4. is small enough to carry in any pocket 5. definition is clear 6. color during the day, great vision at night. 7. the microphone works great when my toddler cries, Ill just tell her i'm on my way and she waits quietly... To date, I have one at my mother's house, keep one in the diaper bag, and have given some away as baby shower gifts. its simple and small enough for anyone to use. This is one of the items that is not expensive and works. My house is made of brick and sometimes the system loses signal, but if you move it a bit, you will find that it connects easily, so the range WORKS. Today I have two kids and bought the DOUBLE baby sense camera, It works like a charm. I plus it once a day during the day while working, and at night i keep it with me during nursing to keep an eye out on my toddler, and the battery lasts all night. The only reason I give this a four star after buying 6 single cameras and 1 double one. Is that I have had trouble with only 2 of the single monitor: the first ones started to fail after two years of DAILY use. Don't worry, keep the camera, get a new monitor and now you cab have TWO cameras with a single monitor (though you cant see them at the same time, but you can toggle among them). Another thing I think is flaky is the thermometer.... It's always a bit off, but it does give you a general idea if the room is cold or not. I would def recommend this product to anyone.

Update at 2 1/2 years: still absolutely wonderful. Battery still charges well and holds the charge in the monitor. Cameras still work great too. One time the display stopped working and all we did was take out the batteries and put them back in and it worked fine. Still highly recommend! We bought this for our twins and we have absolutely loved it. The quality of picture during the day and night are great. There are so many options for the cameras like nightlight, music, white noise and so much more. We have a very long house with it being one level and we have no problems receiving picture and sound on the monitor anywhere. Only thing that I'd mention is that if you do use the white noise on the cameras it is a bit harder to hear the baby. Other than that we have no complaints.

Update: I am coming back to update and lower my rating. I will not buy a baby sense monitor again. My monitor is barely a year old and with all the previous issues stated below, I am now having issues with it keeping a charge. I contacted an Amazon representative and one said they would give me a refund. When I didn’t receive that refund in the amount of days they said I contacted Amazon again and was told I would not receive a refund and to contact baby sense. I then contacted Babysense and it’s been 4 days and nothing has been resolved or have helped me in anyway like I was told. I WILL NOT buy Babysense again and I don’t recommend this monitor with all the issues I’ve had. It’s not worth it in my opinion. I’m so frustrated with the company and with Amazon for making me go back and forth and telling me one thing and then going back on what they told me. So frustrated and if I could I would give them no stars for this product. So disappointing. I would honestly like to love this monitor, but I’ve been having so many issues with the battery, the screen freezing on the black baby sense screen or freezing when I switch to the second camera. The buttons also glitch and spazz out. I will click the buttons to move the camera and it will freeze and then all of a sudden either move really fast or move the opposite direction (I am not clicking the buttons fast to move the camera)! I have had to pull the battery out a crazy amount of times to “reset” the monitor and I’m honestly tired of doing it! I shouldn’t have to! I love the fact it moves so well around the room and the night vision is great, but all the issues I’ve had with it is overshadowing it. The only reason I’m giving it a 2 star rating is because of those positives. Like I said I would like to love this monitor and I would if all the glitches and battery issues would stop.

Only camera system I have used for past 8 years and love it!!! I recently had to purchase another controller, which is cheaper to buy a whole set which comes with additional cameras. Pairs up with 4 cameras, so the additional cameras I used to place in the play room and outside screened-in area. Love that it dies NOT need connection to the internet, which gave me peace of mind knowing no one can break into the system and view anything. Good reach with every camera placed throughout home, has a light, white noises, abd 2 way speaker. Battery charges fast on the monitor and it can be carried throughout areas with no cord. I would recommend and purchase, yet again, if need be.

This monitor is great but the customer service is even better! The picture is very clear and the split screen setting makes it easy to keep eyes on both of my twins. The cameras have dim lights built in which is also nice. After about a month, the parent unit stopped turning on. The parent unit alone was not available on Amazon at the time. When I called customer service, Richard tried helping me troubleshoot. When that didn’t work, he immediately asked for my address so he can ship me a new one (no cost) and included an envelope with a prepaid shipping label to return the original unit. When I checked the tracking number Richard provided a few days later, it showed that it was already delivered..but I hadn’t received it. It turns out that I had made a typo when sending Richard my address and the unit was delivered to the wrong address. Even though this was 100% MY fault, he shipped me ANOTHER unit at no cost. This situation could have been an absolute nightmare but we are very happy with the product and the entire customer service experience.

They're okay. They work, but don't expect to get even close to distance they advertised. Planned to use on vacation to watch our son while we were ~100ft away at the Concierge lounge. Signal died within seconds of walking away from the camera. That said, it's a decent travel camera for when visiting family, but useless if at a hotel.

This company will not stand behind its products, so if it breaks, it's on you. I have had this camera for 6 months and at first one camera stopped working and just played audio and now the other camera has gone black. I reached out to both this retailer on Amazon and the company itself and both are refusing to support or replace. This Amazon retailer won't support you after 30 days, which is absurd. Most people buy these cameras before their babies even come, so in some instances, you won't have even tried it out and you already can't return it. The company, Baby Sense, was even more frustrating. They also refuse to stand behind their own product and told me to buy it again with 15% off. Their website has 20% off, so frankly, it's such an insult. Why would they expect you to purchase from them again when they won't support you? Customer service aside, it's also worth noting that the night vision is atrocious. It feels like the iPhone4. Our last camera was light years ahead of this one. You can also only hear audio from one camera/one kid, so if you have kids in different rooms, you actually have to choose which one you want to hear. Definitely give this a pass and support a company who will actually support you back.

Awful has stopped working a month after purchasing

Amo este monitor, llevo un año y medio con el y es por mucho el mejor. (mis hermanas usan el Motorola y siempre batallan con pila, visibilidad y sonido) Ahorita que agregamos la segunda cámara funciona de maravilla, cambia entre cámaras cada 10segundos y la opción ECO sigue funcionando con las dos cámaras. Lo super recomiendo.

After a few months of using, one of the monitors became blurry. I contacted babysense to replace or refund me for one of the cameras. They refused. On top of that, on several different occasions the parent monitor did not go off when my baby was crying. Very disappointed in the product for the price.

If you are in Canada, do not purchase this product. I purchased this camera in June 2022 and the parent unit (screen) broke just after the 30 days mark. The reseller would not assist in providing a new unit or refunding because it surpassed the 30 days and babysense would also not help because they do not ship to Canada. Overall very disappointing that the monitor broke so early as well as the lack of support afterwards. Poor quality monitor even when it was working.
