I picked this up to try on my black, new-to-me 2019 Toyota Sequoia, and overall I’ve been really impressed. I prefer to detail my vehicles myself whenever possible because I’ve seen firsthand what automated car washes can do to paint—and I’m also seriously considering starting a mobile detailing business, so I’m testing products with a much more critical eye. This ceramic wax applies easily and delivers a noticeable improvement in gloss and reflectivity, especially on black paint. It leaves the surface looking clean, crisp, and very reflective without that cloudy look some sealants can leave behind. Water beading is excellent, and after application, the truck stayed looking cleaner longer between washes, which is exactly what I want from a product like this. Application is straightforward, but less really is more. Small sections work best, and while it buffs off well by hand, I do think the results would have been even better—and removal easier—with a machine polisher or buffer. That’s not a knock on the product, just a realistic observation. With a buffer, I think this would produce truly next-level, professional-grade results. What I appreciate most is how clear and even the finish looks. It enhances the paint rather than masking it, and the durability seems solid for a spray-on ceramic product. Given how little product you need per application, it also feels very economical. For anyone who enjoys maintaining their own vehicle, wants to avoid harsh car washes, or is learning the detailing process with an eye toward professional work, this is an excellent product to have in your lineup. I’ll definitely keep using it—and it’s earned a spot as part of my ongoing product testing as I sharpen my detailing skills.

This is great stuff. Easy to apply and wipe off and it gives the car finish a great shiny finish. It last a long time also.

I like Griot's products and this works pretty well. Longevity and shine, can't say it's any better than other products available and streaked a bit on my black paint. After trying many different spray waxes, my favorite continues to be Meguiar's Ultimate spray wax for ease of use, shine, and longevity. On plastic trim that's already been detailed (not faded) the Griot's wins for longevity vs. other trim products. I'll continue using it on trim.

Griot's on paint, bumpers, rims with Rain-X (for ~ 50 yrs now) on windows, head-tail lights. Have same family of Ceramic spray wax on truck. This wash hopefully does indeed extend that spray wax coverage interval, as I always do it again before finding out for sure! This wash product is as high quality as most other Griot's products, goes on easy, doesn't leave soap spots during normal washing effort.

UPDATE: I’m still in love with this product. Yesterday I washed a 18 year old Range Rover previously treated with the Griot’s hybrid ceramic wax and it was a breeze. The attached pictures show the depth and gloss that it provides. Also, I included a picture of the proper amount to apply for best results. It really is best to use sparingly as you can see. Also, I choose to use the spray setting on the bottle as opposed to the mister setting. This way stray product doesn’t end up where I don’t expect it and it makes for an easier application. Original review is below: I love this product. It brings the depth of a carnauba wax, and the longevity and durability of a ceramic coating, all very economically and is easy enough for anybody to use. A couple of notes that you should be aware of though: The better you prepare the car, the better your results will be. This means a thorough wash, clay bar, and polish as needed, followed by using a IPA or prep product before application. While none of that is absolutely necessary, your results will be better and the coating will last longer before needing another application. Regarding application, less is more with this product. A regular size hood should require no more than 4 or 5 sprays. You will regret it if you use more. Also, for best results you should do 2 coats, separated by a minimum of 12 hours in a dry environment to allow for proper curing. If preparation is done properly, the coating should last at least 6 months but a year is more common. Since it is best to use sparingly and because it lasts so long, it is incredibly economical, and the results look professional. This is one of my favorite car care products giving professional results and is very user friendly. It can even be used as a maintenance topper for fully ceramic coated vehicles. They got it right with this one..

This is some great stuff, I never met a Griots product I did not like. The flagship retail store is in Tacoma, WA , they tuned an old Coke-Cola bottling plant into an awesome showroom, garage with small car museum. They make the best stuff you can buy for your automotive needs. This product is easy to apply, gives a durable finish, beads water like crazy. If you want the best , get it ! Check out other products, to clean imbedded dirt you didn't know was there(clay bar) speed shine will aid the clay bar to remove the deep stuff, then use this spray wax for best results.

This product works very well compared to many other well known products on the market. Not sure why a others had a bad experience with it, but the product I received worked flawlessly. Easy on, easy off with a brilliant finish. Perhaps those users didn't shake the bottle well before and during the application process? Anyhow, if you can afford to purchase this product and are looking for an alternative to your current spray on ceramic wax, I would highly recommend giving it shot.

I can’t tell you guys it is good or bad. But i assure you that I didn’t put wax on my car that well. Someone who has experience or professional can do it well. I watched video a lot. But still made a mistake and whole car has wax spot.. ( when i was doing it. I didn’t have enough light and that was at night) so it is what it is.)

It streaks a little, but I use my power buffer with the wall pad and it came out beautiful

I bought this Groits because an American on YouTube reviewed 12 ceramic coatings and Groits came up tops. And I'm very happy, it beads like nothing else. I've used it on two large cars and a caravan front and still have 1/2 a bottle left. It wasn't available in Australia at the time but soon after I purchased it became available at Autobarn for even less than I paid. My brother bought it too, he's as impressed as me. It works. Our cars are stored undercover and I polished them 6 months ago, the beading is still extreme.
