Baby Brezza Formula Pro

This is one of the most helpful tools I've ever had for baby. Wish I had this for my other formula making needs.Absolute lifesaver for middle of the night feedings when coherency is at a minimum. With the push of a button and a few seconds, we are able to return quickly to satisfy our red-faced, hollering bundle of joy. I like to tell him stories of how his sister had to wait far longer for the bottle warmer, overheating and starting over, and the sometimes chunk-filled bottles that needed serious arm muscle to work out. I tell him how the Brezza makes perfect temperature, well-blended insta-bottles. He shows his appreciation by sucking each one down nearly as fast as they were made.The machine itself is easy to set up and employ. It cleans up easily but even on my most careful days I do make a small, powdery mess around the machine and the formula container. A quick wipe with a damp paper towel or cloth on the top and around the outside is all you should need to do. The formula dispenser/container on top also washes up easily but has many small spaces that hold water. Dry thoroughly, formula will cake up in these tiny nooks with even a little moisture.It does have a couple little things that need to be watched and worked with to keep its convenience. The dispenser funnel asks to be cleaned every 4th bottle. Most times it's pretty clean but that 2am feeding when you can't see, snd it's slightly more challenging to both remember to do it and actually do it. I try to work around it by cleaning it after the last late night bottle so I can make it through to the next morning.The formula dispenser/container on top needs to be cleaned and dried well at the dispensing hole. I found that every other day is sufficient but it's kind of a pain to have to empty it, wash and thoroughly dry it before I can use it again. Formula tends to cling to container and spills out when removing and emptying it for cleaning. I'm sure that's operator error in some way but I'm pretty meticulous and find it a little wasteful with the frequency it needs to be emptied/cleaned.The water reservoir holds enough that it only needs to be refilled once, maybe twice a day. I've learned to lift just the front to refill it so the condensation doesn't spill all over the counter and machine.Kind of wish it had the same water-heating method as my Keurig but that's mostly irrelevant.In short, if you take care if it, it will take care of you. I recommend this to this who need to formula feed more than a few times a day. In our first month it's already worth its price. Almost didn't buy it because I planned to breastfeed but ran into a couple bumps that prevented it from happening at all. I had to spend a week in the hospital after an emergency surgery, and my mother in law had to take care of our newborn for most of that week. She loved and appreciated the Brezza even thought first she had her reservations about my purchase.May it serve you as well as it has served us :)

So first, I feel that I must mention something about this issue that some people seem to have with following simple directions. The instruction manual is so detailed and basic that it is almost offensive, with red tags and STOP signs all over the machine when you first open it reminding people to read instructions first, to the actual picture book instructions that were written in a way that a 5 year old should be able to follow them. This leads me to believe that most of the problems that people have with this product are a result from them not following directions and it is sad.On to the review and some background: Both my wife and I work. We have a nanny at home, and we premake our bottles every night for the next day. This is time consuming on the front end but it removes any room for error making them on the fly. The last thing anyone needs is a loud crying baby and trying to make up formula or trying to heat refrigerated formula at the same time, possible with one free hand. The addition of a child to family completely changes the family dynamic. These changes are not just physical but also physiological and emotional. These changes are great, also a source of significant stress. Indeed, making formula is not rocket science. But I have come to learn that any small investment that makes our (her) life just a little bit easier, goes a long way.So we have had this unit for a 3 days, just refilled the tank last night. It holds 50 ounces but I suspect that you have some losses due to evaporation. During the day, you hear the heater cut on to keep the water at temperature, perhaps once every hour or so depending on how cold it is (house stays around 73 degrees). We have had experience with a bottle heater, and coming from the fridge, it takes about 3.5 minutes and the temperature is so variable. Imagine the same setting that overshoots by 15 degrees at times leaving you stuck waiting and your little one screaming for food. So one can imagine how significant it becomes to slap a bottle under the spout, push a button, and have measured formula magically come out at the correct temperature within seconds every time. From my temperature readings, it is consistently between 96.5-98.5 degrees using an IR thermometer.There is a youtuber who reviewed this unit who stated that she would not have ordered one again had she known there was clean up involved. I must highlight the fact that cleaning is recommended daily and it consists of pulling out the funnel, rinsing it with water, and then wiping the underside of the dispenser where formula comes out. It takes about 10 seconds. Manual also recommends washing the water tank and formula section as well as the plastic moving parts once a month. It all breaks apart pretty easily, and I really don't thing that it is too much to ask. Especially considering the mess one is prone to make when scooping formula into bottles every 3-4 hours.At the end of the day, we are very pleased. At this price point, compared to how much easier it has made our lives, I think owning one is a no-brainer.

This is the first bad review that I have ever given on a product. I wanted to love this product. It seemed like a leap into the future of easy breezy bottle preparing -- just push a button! For the first two weeks , it was wonderful ! Despite being uncertain of the proper consistency of the mixture, I thought maybe the machine just mixed it better than hand shaking the bottle. I followed all of the directions to a science. Beginning on week 3 , the machine suddenly became a nightmare. The water would not stop coming out , spewing all over my counter and hardwood floor until I unplugged it. I took it apart via the instructions , cleaning every part as instructed and started over. Same results yet this time , it wouldn't stop administering formula. So I had water and an entire can of wasted formula all over my countertop and floor. HOWEVER , I wanted to love this product ! How convenient -- a game changer for late night feelings! Just press a button and voila - warm, ready - made bottle ! So I took the machine apart AGAIN , cleaned all the wet , clumped formula from every part and enlisted help to make sure I was understanding the directions clearly. No such luck! The machine continued to spew water and formula and only stopped when unplugged. I read another review where a woman commented that her machine spewed an entire can of formula. Other reviewers immediately attacked her assessment and implied that it was exaggerated. I admit that I thought it sounded like she had not followed the instructions, was exaggerating , ect. Like I stated earlier , for the first two weeks, I was in love with gadget. How dare someone criticize this " must have " machine! Well, I experienced the same problems. It was if my machine was possessed. I wasted almost two cans of formula and cleaned up a complete mess several times ( not fun when sleep deprived and caring for a newborn ). But despite the malfunction of the machine , I was never certain that the mixture was correct even when it worked. The consistency was always lighter than when I hand mixed bottles. In regards to costumer service , I had to call the company for a refund. The representative immediately offered a refund, so I was able to return the product without any hassle. This product is a wonderful idea and hopefully they can work out the kinks.

This is one of the best baby purchases I have made for my twin boys. Twins are a LOT of work and anything that can save a little time for my wife and I is fantastic.I initially saw this in a store before my boys were born and remember thinking what a stupid idea it was. How lazy can people be that they can't put a little powder in a bottle and shake it up? Flash forward to the babies being born and making 2 bottles every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and I drastically changed my tune.I was skeptical that it would work well but I gave it a shot and it really does everything it says it does. Put water and formula in, select how many ounces and push the button. In about 20 seconds you have a full, warm bottle of formula.When the formula is dispensed, it sends the water down the funnel in a swirling motion, and sprinkles the formula as it is swirling down to mix it, then for the last bit of water no formula comes out essentially rinsing itself and doesn't leave formula in the funnel to get crusty. It comes out mostly mixed together, but I give it a shake or two just in case.Maintenance consists of this:-Once a day take the funnel out and wash it.-Once a day, when you take the funnel off, wipe the part where the formula is dispensed as some formula will accumulate there.-Once a month take all the pieces out and wash them.The daily maintenance takes less than 2 minutes and monthly takes about 20 minutes of work and a couple of hours to let everything dry.I'll also address some complaints that I read in other reviews that almost made me not want to get it.-DISPENSING MORE FORMULA THAN THE AMOUNT YOU SELECT: It does, and it should. The directions on formula say that if you are going to make 4oz, for instance, you put 4 ounces of water in a bottle and then put the formula in on top of that. So you do end up with more than 4oz total in the bottle. I'm guessing the people complaining about that just weren't following the instructions on the formula to begin with and were putting the powder in first and then topping it off with water until it reaches the number of ounces they want.-MACHINE GETTING CLOGGED: I've used it for more than a month now with twins and have not had any issues. Possibly the problem was not wiping the dried formula off every day like the directions say to? There is always a little bit of dry stuff at the opening when I wipe it daily and I'm sure if it wasn't wiped it would eventually cause a problem, or possibly they just didn't put it together correctly or had a defective unit or something. No moisture has ever gotten in the actual formula hopper for me, as this is sealed with a silicon flap when formula isn't being dispensed. (Keep in mind that I put through twice the normal amount of formula and still just do the same daily maintenance and haven't had a problem).FORMULA NOT THICK ENOUGH: I followed all the instructions and set it according for the formula I was using and haven't had an issue. I did make a bottle manually and then one with the machine at first and they both seemed the same consistency. I even tasted them and they both seemed the same (spoiler alert: formula tastes kind of gross). One thing I would recommend is check the companies website for the most current settings. Some of them were different than the ones on the included sheet and their site had the most updated settings. I don't know if they were just tweeking them to be more accurate or they did that due to a change in the formula composition or something.MY SUGGESTIONS IF YOU BUY ONE:-Read all the instructions when setting it up and make sure the parts are completely dry after you wash them before putting them in and using the machine.-Go to the manufacturers site for the formula setting information as it is more up to date than the included sheet.-Clean the funnel and wipe the opening with a dry cloth daily. Skipping that seems like asking for trouble to me.

Ok. There are plenty of reviews on here talking about how good it is or how bad it is. There may be different lots of this item shipping with different specs or something, I don't know. But I will give you my experience and tell you why I like it and am not returning it even though it didn't really work right out of the box.So we just had twins. Making bottles is a real pain at 3 in the morning, especially when you have to make two. I saw this thing and I thought it would be a life saver. Well, it makes bottles in seconds. That part they didn't lie about. I read the reviews where people talked about how it didn't push out enough formula and their babies were spitting up or crying all the time. Then I read the ones where people said they had no issues and it was likely the customers not following the directions and that's why the bottles weren't coming out right. I'm here to set the story straight. This thing doesn't make bottles like it should according to the directions, but I'll explain.We used this thing for close to a week and one of our babies was spitting up a lot. Like every feeding she was spitting up most of her bottle. The other baby was crying all the time. I started thinking about it and I thought I would do a little experiment. I saw another guy did this, but I got completely different results. Here's what I did:I made a bottle by hand. Scooped the powder myself and added my own water. I had do to it a little different than I normally do though, because the machine adds 2oz of water and then formula on top of it so it always comes out more than 2oz. Normally, when I make a bottle, I add the formula and then add water up to the 2 oz mark. Anyway, I weighed the bottle empty, then weighed it with the water and formula. I did it for the machine and when I handmade the bottles. It turns out, the machine bottles were about 2.5 grams short of formula. That's not really a lot, but when you're only talking about 2oz of water, it can really effect the consistency and the amount of overall formula the baby is getting. Basically, the babies were drinking too much water and not enough formula. The good news, however, is that it was a relatively easy fix. All I had to do was change the wheel in the hopper. I was using Enfamil Gentlease and it said to use wheel 5, but that obviously wasn't cutting it. So I tried 4 and that wasn't quite enough and then I did 3. Wheel 3 is making bottles pretty much right on where I was hand making them. So that's the wheel I'm using now. We'll see how the babies do now, but I'm sure with the extra formula, things will turn around. I saw one lady said she had to pull out parts from the hopper and it ruined all her formula, but that's not the case. Just pull the oranges pieces out and push all your formula through the funnel into a cup or something. Then you can just pour it back in.So, overall, yes this is a good product. It's still saving time by mixing and heating the bottles all at once. It really makes night time feedings go a lot faster when all you have to do is push a button and you have a bottle. You just might have to experiment with the wheels until it gives you the consistency you're wanting. It might work differently for other formulas as well, so this might not be a solution for everyone. I still think if you're looking for a good bottle maker, this is it. You just have to tinker with it a little bit.

Read the instructions. They make things stupidly easy to understand if you're willing to read the huge bold print that teaches you how to use this. I went back to work so we bought this so my husband could get our two kids out to grandma's house with a little less hassle and it's worked perfectly for us.It's easy to clean and easy to refill.We use it every day and it's so easy to operate that even visiting grandma's can make a bottle with no training. HahaAwesome product and I would highly recommend this to anyone. I would buy this again in an instant, in fact, I'm considering buying one for grandma's house.***UPDATE after 3 months of use 5/13/15Still the same! I am so impressed by this product and how easy it has made making bottles! I am not the kind of person who faithfully reviews products. If something works for me I'm just happy and continue on with my life, but this is a little different for me. This formula maker won't change your life forever and it doesn't do windows, but it's just one less thing I have to worry about in my life. Minimal maintenance and my 3 year old even helps me make bottles for the baby - which he loves - because he likes to feel like he helps. I know my baby is getting the right amount of formula even when my 75 year old grandma is helping watch the baby. I was worried that it would be a pain to refill all the time, but it lasts a lot longer than I thought it would. The water tank has to be filled more frequently than the formula, but it's super easy.One thing we have to watch is that the dispenser that lets the powder down gets some formula build up around it so you just have to remove the top tank and clean it off. If you don't do this then you'll notice that the mixture gets more watered down because the hole where the formula should drop is closing off. Not hard to clean. This is the nature of having powdered milk and a tiny bit of moisture mixing just below this opening.

I was a bit hesitant when I received this product as a mothers day gift and read the reviews to get more info on how others liked using it. My son was 8 weeks at the time and of course being a new mother did not want to do anything that would possibly jeopardize his health. I cleaned the machine thoroughly and read the instructions backwards and forwards and also took into consideration what others said worked for them. I of course did a test run with my kitchen weight scale from a bottle that was made by the machine and then one handmade. It was pretty much spot on! So I decided to give it a shot. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and am so in LOVE! I have to say that I clean the funnel and the underside of the machine both in the morning and at night due to using Enfamil Gentlease which is a very fine powder and clumps easily. I think that this has helped keep each bottle consistent and maintains my peace-of-mind. I plan on cleaning the entire machine 2x per month rather than just one. I also found that the recommended setting for formula (in my case #5) has been great. I know others said they had to adjust it and maybe I will after time but for now it is working great! My son no longer has to wait for me to put the bottle together, then heat it to the right temp, all the while screaming because he is hungry. I just press a button and VWAHLA! Also my Mother-in-law is moving in with us and will start taking care of him once I go back to work. Now I don't need to go through a whole routine of explaining how to make the bottles...it's just a push of a button. I am hoping that things continue to go well and I don't end up amending this review. I would be heartbroken.2 Months Later: Machine is still working wonderfully and my almost 4 month old is already 17 1/2lbs! He is growing so fast and the machine has been a wonderful addition to our daily routine. It is so cute, when he hears the machine start he gets really quite, puts his hands up to his mouth and starts sucking. Adorable! I still clean the machine 2x per month and the underside twice a day. Have never had any clogs and all the bottles continue to be consistent. And he is OBVIOUSLY getting enough to eat.

This machine has made feeding a hungry baby a quick and stress-free experience. The first time I saw this online I was still pregnant and thought it was completely overboard. After struggling with breastfeeding for 6 weeks I moved to formula and bought this formula maker as a consolation prize. I am so happy we have it. It not only makes preparing bottles fast and easy for me, but it also makes it a no brainer for anyone who may be trying to help out (relatives, friends, babysitters, etc). The machine calculates the right amount of formula powder based on the brand you're using (this is part of the very easy setup process), combines it with water and serves it at the perfect temperature. No more microwaving water, making it too hot, trying to cool it down, screaming baby, blood pressure rising... you literally have a bottle ready to go in seconds. Oh not to mention when you're brain dead at 2am, you don't have to think, just press a button and you're done.The instructions included are really great; many photos of the setup process and how to put the machine together. As many other reviewers commented, you do need to wipe off the hole where the formula comes out and mixes with the water once a day. It's a 30 second job with a dry paper towel, not something you have to completely disassemble the machine to do. When you do clean all the parts you need to make sure they are totally dry when you reassemble the machine so you don't have formula powder sticking to everything.Don't hesitate to buy this. It's not cheap but it is such a huge help it's worth every penny! We use it multiple times a day and will need it for close to a year... easily justified in my mind.

I cannot say enough about this machine!!! As a first time mom who was unable to breastfeed, I felt that this was truly a life saver, and it preserved my sanity. Being a new, first time parent is stressful enough, but add the upset and stress of realizing you will now be exclusively formula feeding and fumbling with bottle paraphernalia at all hours of the night while in zombie mode, and you have a very frustrating situation. That being said, this machine alleviated so much of that frustration. It is AMAZING!! We've been using it 5+ times a day for 10 months, and it's still going strong. We just went on vacation for a week, and man, did we miss it!We were able to put it right on the dresser in the nursery because it only requires an electrical outlet. Why is this so great? We were able to make a perfectly mixed, perfectly warm bottle of formula with no bubbles in less than 30 seconds, one-handed while we snuggled, rocked, soothed, or changed our baby because the machine was within arm's reach of the crib, change table and nursing chair. This was no coincidence. LolLiterally pushing one button and you instantly have a bottle ready to go tremendously reduced our stress, and that of our baby, because we could focus on him instead of juggling a bunch of bottle making stuff.The only drawback is that it's a bit noisy when it's prepping the bottle, so if you have your sleepy/sleeping baby in the vacinity, it might wake him/her up. The heating element "whooshes" like white noise approximately every 20 minutes for a few seconds, but it's rarely noticed by our little guy unless he's teetering I the edge of sleep/wakefulness.A couple of tips for optimal usage:-We used the Kirkland Omega+ formula from Costco (Canadian), and it never gets jammed in the hopper or mixes clumpy like some other formulas. Our little guy has been very successful on this one, and it's half the price of the Similac Pink formula, which is apparenty the same formulation. I believe it's setting #6 on the scoop size dial, but if you call Baby Brezza's customer service line, they can verify the correct setting, as it's somewhat ambiguous in their "catch all" scoop size guide.-Use distilled or boiled water to reduce calcification and buildup in the water reservoir.-Don't let the formula powder level in the hopper drop below the orange cogs (wheels). The formula will not mix to the right consistency if the hopper is either too low, or too tightly packed.-Adjust the bottle platform to the height of your bottle so that the neck of the bottle JUST fits under the spout. If it's too low, it will splatter.-We found it really convenient to have at least 2 bottles in rotation (we put a Boon Grass drying rack beside the machine and keep the spare bottles and nipples, etc. right beside the machine), with one clean bottle waiting under the spout so that you literally just have to hit one button when you need a bottle...because you will need it IMMEDIATELY some times! LolIf you are on the fence about this product, or if you are wondering if it's worth the price, trust me. It's 100% worth every single penny.

I kept the box so it's easy to bring it on vacation.Also the company have a great customer serviceUpdate 4 month laterWe start using this machine with nestle good start formula, Didn't had too much problem with it, But the formula stick more on the machine than the walmart parent's choice formula. We are using this machine since about 4 months and the only trouble was the first day and it was my fault . We buy distilled from walmart at 97 cent a gallon. We use dr brown bottle and our baby never spill , no colic and almost no gas. I guess the one who have some trouble with it didn't set the machine properly, use wrong number for the formula. I clean the machine once a week, no clogging or sticky powder with the parent choice formula.The quantity is always the same, no clogging, .... perfect every time

I bought myself the babybreeza when I was still pregnant with my first as a backup In case.BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE!I swear, I gave birth to a hungry, hungry hippo. She wants her bottle and she wants it now. So having a perfect temperature, perfectly mixed bottles in less tha 30 seconds has made a word of a difference.If you bottle feed, do yourself a favour. And buy this. You will not regret it. It works for virtually any formula and any bottle.I’ve been to many baby showers since buying this and I have gotten them the baby breeza every time and I’ve all gotten praised for doing so. It is a life saver! I went on a month-long trip across the country with my daughter when she was 3 months old for her to meet my side of the family and you guessed it. The baby breeza was in my luggage! I live for that damn thing! I had to make bottles without and it was dreadful.5/5 would buy again.(They did come out with a newer model which has more options, I might upgrade to that one if we ever decide for a second)BUY THIS AND SAVE YOURSELF !

Our daughter just had triplets. She has a 4 year old and when we first heard about the Baby Brezza her reaction was no, not necessary. People at work told me to go and buy the Baby Brezza that is was an incredible time saver. It is more than that, IT IS A VITAL APPLIANCE in the house now. We bought it at Christmas, the triplets were 10 weeks old. It is now February and the Baby Brezza is used all day, every day. Even though our daughter is pumping and breast feeding it is fair to say that feeding 3 infants requires more than she can supply. This is an incredibly easy machine to use, looks great on the counter in the kitchen, cleans very easily, is noiseless, and makes perfectly warmed formula within seconds. One of the many relatives who comes regularly to help with the babies was admiring it one evening and pensively said out-loud, "do you think we can use it for hot chocolate when the babies stop drinking formula?". Congratulations Baby Brezza, this is a really good quality product and has saved our daughter many hours of work already. We'll let you know how the hot chocolate thing works out in about 2 years time!
