Works perfect
This product is wonderful. Thought there was a possibility I had water in my boat reserve tank. Put this on a stick and came out same color. Tested it with water on the stick later and immediately turned bright red. Does exactly as it said.

Great for checking fuel oil tanks
I live in the country beyond natural gas lines and heat with fuel oil. Sometimes, a little water gets into the fuel oil at the storage depot. The water can get into your home oil tank and cause your heater to fail when you need it most. This water paste allows you to check your own fuel oil tank for water. Apply this paste to about 2 inches of a stick or plastic pipe, then dip the paste end into your fuel tank. Any water turns the paste a brilliant red. This gives you time to drain the water before the dreaded " wake up to a freezing home at 3:00 AM "
