Ion Bright White Powder Lightener 1 lb

This bleach is incredible. I used it with a 30 vol developer and a little conditioner stirred in to dilute it for hair damage prevention purposes, and I'm not disappointed. I was bleaching out black, so I did have to use it twice in order to get the color out, but it worked very well. It went from black to a very nice brown (which was perfect bcs I was going ginger but my dye was a little bright, so I needed a darker color to contrast that.) My hair doesn't feel damaged at all, it's still soft as can be. Very good product.

This powder lightener works really well and gives a clean, even lift up to about 7 levels. It mixes smoothly, is low-dust, and applies evenly without excessive swelling. My hair felt less dry than with other lighteners, which was a nice surprise. Overall, it delivers bright blonde results with minimal damage. I would definitely repurchase and recommend it for both at-home and professional use.

I’ve tried many powder lighteners and always go back to this brand. This has been my go-to for a while now because it’s always a consistent quality. Other powders don’t lift nearly as well as this one. It definitely lifts at least 4-5 levels. It’s also best to cover your bleached parts with hair foil or syran wrap because when this bleach dries, it no longer lifts. So covering your bleached parts with foil or wrap can help keep the bleach activated longer, thus lifting more for a brighter blonde. Also keep in mind you will still need a toner (but that goes for any powder lightener). Any powder bleach will lighten your hair but in order to get the brassy/unwanted tones out, you HAVE to tone your hair afterwards. After bleaching, I use Wella toners (T18 or T28 - sometimes both) and my hair always looks like I came from the salon.

Wonderful product. Comes out as a beautiful bright blonde. It does exactly what it says it is supposed to. Up to 7 levels up.

My roots are a level 6 or 7 and this lifts my roots to a level 9 with 20vol in 50 minutes! I also used this bleach to do my entire head when I first went pink, and it worked great! I got to about a level 7/8 which was fine in my case because I was going pink! If I were to do it again, I'd use 10vol on the back and 20vol on the front for evenness in lift! Now that I only touch up my roots every 4-6 weeks, it works out great! Your hair will be DRY, so I 1000% recommend K18 molecular hair mask for afterwards! I usually wait a day before putting on hair dye, but I also just do my hair late at night 🤣

My daughters have dark hair. This lifted very well without too much damage. I did find out that I'm allergic to it, but luckily, I wasnt the one using it. I just had to wear longer gloves to make sure none got on my skin. The girls' had no reaction.

Love this lightener, it works fast and with little enough damage that I can use it on my teen (med-light brown dead straight dense as all get out but fine strands down to her hips) with a 30 vol without fallout. My hair is natural black/“darkest brown” 3c curl so I use it with 20 for grey coverage and 40 for the hot pink third of my head. It doesn’t interrupt my curls or fry or gummify my hair, but my only complaint is that it doesn’t damage the greys enough so to speak, so they tend to come out a bit lighter and fade faster which looks weird if I get lazy with touch-ups. By far the most cost and time efficient powder I’ve tried though, and very little damage. Just like any hair bleach, keep the fan on though unless you want to cry.

The best hair lightener out there, I've been using it for years! Fantastic product, pleasant smell for a bleach product, good color lift, and least damaging to my hair among countless others over 20 years!
