This is a great portable monitor with an excellent refresh rate. The image is super crisp. I needed this to travel in my RV with my Mac Mini 4m Pro. My notebook blew a logicboard. So I needed to fall back to my desktop machine to travel with. Advantages: • It does not require a power cord if you have a thunderbolt port or USB-C port. • It gives you extra ports on the monitor itself. (I have a USB video camera plugged into the monitor instead of the computer). • It has speakers built in. They're not super amazing, but they do sound good enough. • It has a built-on cover so that it is protected when I put it in a drawer during travel days. Overall, I'm very glad that I chose this monitor. • Clarity and brightness are great.

Overview: The Cocopar 17.3 inch 4k portable monitor has exceeded my expectations and it is worth the high price tag. Display Quality and Capabilities: Resolution: This is the best-looking display I have ever seen. This monitor supports a true native 4k resolution and it is extremely sharp. It is so sharp that individual pixels and aliasing are imperceivable to the naked eye. Tip: If you use this monitor with a lower resolution monitor (1080p) in the extension mode, I recommend scaling the text and Icons higher than 100%. They will appear too small on a 4k monitor. 8bit color/Adobe RGB: This monitor has great color gamut right outside the box. If your workflow requires the Adobe RGB color space, you can select the color profile directly form the monitor OSD. I don’t have a calibration tool to test the exact color and gamma coverage of the display, but I did notice a significant improvement in color saturation and range compared to my built in 1080p laptop monitor that only supports sRGB. I tested this by opening a RAW file with an imbedded Adobe RGB profile in Camera Raw and dragged the window between the two screens. I also set the two monitors to the Adobe RGB 1998 profiles in the Windows display setting. Portability and Convenience: The best part about this monitor is how portable it is and how easy it is to set up and start working. The monitor 2.2Lb and I find it very light for its size. It is very quick to set up to a monitor if you use USB Type-C because it supports video and power; that means you will only need one cable to operate the monitor. Great Customer Service and Warranty Cocopar support is quick to respond to emails and very clear explaining the details about warranty information. Registering the product was very easy. This is the only company that I have seen to provide a 3-year warranty for manufacturing defects. All the items are very organized and covered with protective foam and plastic wraps. All advertised items where include in the box including a manual. The manual is very clear to understand and has images and diagrams to help you set up the monitor correctly.

This is actually my second portable monitor purchased from cocopar, and I am so enthusiastic about this purchase. A while ago I got a FHD 17-inch portable monitor from them for my son a few months ago, and he had such a good experience that I sought out this brand when shopping for a 4K monitor for myself. I got the monitor on the day promised from Amazon, and was overjoyed with the screen quality when I unpacked it and turned it on. One of the best aspects of this purchase is that they include all the cables that just about anyone would need - HDMI, USB-C, power cables, and power adapter. Even though I only need the USB-C cable to get power and video signal from many of my devices, I have many other options to connect right out of the box. I am also impressed with the build of the panel and the case. It feels sturdy and solid, and the case fits the panel perfectly. It has a narrow bezel all around, except for a bit more of an edge along the bottom. It is great, because the case doubles as a stand, and allows you to prop it up easily to work with next to a laptop or other portable device. With my past purchase, I had the experience of contacting their wonderful customer support. They really go out of their way to help out, explaining how to connect and how to get enough power to the panel to support its maximum brightness. They walked me through the different connection options for my son's laptop, and explained the pros and cons of each option. Instructions are clear, so hopefully you do not need their help, but it is awesome to know it is there. My only complaint is that the USB-C cable for the power adapter is only about 3 feet long, which is short for me. I see in the instructions "contact us if you need longer cables". I am looking forward to contacting them, and I anticipate that they will make this right for me! I appreciate that there are companies like this that create quality products and stand by them in terms of support. Highly recommended.

I have been a remote worker for 15 months and I need to start going back into the office. I didn't want to use my work PC for getting work done, I have a Mac laptop that is much faster than my office PC, so I'd prefer to bring my personal laptop to get my work done. However, with a 13 inch screen, screen real estate is an issue. I was in the market for an external monitor. I saw a lot of 15 inch monitors but I work on a 24 inch monitor at home. After constantly searching I found this 17 inch monitor and it is one of the only (if not the only) portable monitor this size. Now that you've made it past my boring reasons for using it, how does it measure up? The screen is gorgeous in some ways better than my non portable 24 inch monitor. It's clear, crisp and 4K. Videos look beautiful, the connectivity is really good as well, this monitor can serve as a hub for you. It's a perfect solution for a mobile worker or someone who would prefer to work on their own device, people with smaller apartments that might not have room for a larger monitor, etc. For me it's so lovely because as I said, it's portable, 2.2 lbs, which was a must for me, but it's also a large and lovely screen! This is a very nice monitor. The inverted buttons have been fixed in newer versions. The USB3 ports are great add. Only requires a single USBC cable but also has options for HDMI and DP. The picture is very vivid and color accurate. It’s a very nice 4K panel with almost no backlight bleed. The box includes all the accessories you need, including some screen protectors and power plug. This monitor travels really well and works on both my Surface Pro 7 and 2019 16” MacBook Pro. The seller is also really awesome, he helped me do a firmware update to get the MacBook working on USBC. Recommend both this monitor and the seller.

The pros The monitor preforms well over both HDMI and USB Type C and has excellent image quality and brightness. It is very portable, and I was honestly surprised as to how thin the monitor is. It comes with a carrying case. The monitor is housed in a metal frame which is quite sturdy. You receive a good selection of cables along with the monitor to connect it to a variety of devices. USB-C to USB-C (x2), USB-A to USB-C (Power only), and HDMI. The cons My laptop is able to power the screen and send images to it via its Thunderbolt 3 port, but the 2 USB-A ports on the monitor do not work unless I use the included power adapter as well. I noticed that if I am using the monitor only via USB-C, that I do not get HDR options in Windows Display Settings. Overall, I think this is an excellent monitor. So far, I have only been using it for less than a week.

This item surpassed my expectations. It is far more lightweight than i thought. its robust body makes it feel sturdy. The slim design with thin bezel edges make it look very sleek. It has great clarity for both photos and videos. The multiple connectivity options is simply brilliant. there is no lag or flicker even then using just the USB C cable to the thunderbolt on my laptop. What i dont like is the case that if not careful you can make tumble off the magnetic sleeve. there whoudl have been a more reinforced attachment to give comfort. Overall a great product.

A friend recommended a portable monitor. I work remotely and sometimes from a couple of different locations. I prefer to work with two monitors and carrying around a desktop monitor is cumbersome. I decided to go with this one because of the larger size screen. My first order resulted in a defective device, but Amazon was quick to replace and I had no issues. When I received the second unit, I had an issue with 'extending' my display. Eventually, I was able to resolve the problem by changing the resolution in settings on my Dell laptop. I was not able to use the 'recommended' resolution. This may be due the portable monitor being 4k (not really sure). I just selected each resolution to try it and eventually found the sweet spot. I love the fold up cover that also serves as a stand. I can fold it up when done - like a notebook. Display and audio are impressive. I've only used it for a few hours -but so far - so good! **UPDATE 7/19/2020** - I used the monitor all week and it's working perfectly! Seller customer service is AMAZING! The warranty card they include in the box is a 3 year warranty. I assumed this was at an additional cost, but when I reached out, they were very quick to reply and confirm my product as registered. They even explained the details with the warranty. I also asked about purchasing a longer power cable. The one that comes with the device is only 3ft. They were responsive and patient - even offered to send me a 6ft cable for free! I'd already found and purchased a 10 ft cable on Amazon. If you have a similar issue, don't buy an 'extension' - it will cause the monitor(s) to blink - just buy a longer cable. It's a USB Type C to USB Type C cable.

I bought this monitor to use as a second 4K display to my notebook. I have been using it for a couple of days and it is a really nice product, well made, easy to use and the screen quality is outstanding. Thumbs up!

After a few 15" portable monitors, I decided to upgrade to a 17" in order to get more screen real estate when on the go, and also to match the 17" of my new Dell XPS 17 laptop. I didn't need touch as the Dell has touch support on the internal screen. The picture quality is great, I appreciate the full size HDMI input in addition to the power only and power+display USB-C, as well as mini-displayport. I don't use the USB ports, so I can't comment on that. I can use a single USB-C cable with one of my TB4 ports on the XSP 17 as long as I keep brightness low (1-3), anything above that you need a second power cable going to the USB-C power adaptor to provide the 15-18W that the monitor needs at full brightness. The screen also works fine with the TB3 ports of my MBP 13 2018. It comes with a foldable cover that does the job and can be used as a stand in a pinch, but I normally I use a Sirui portable stand with an Arnarkok holder to have the Cocopar screen above the laptop screen as that works best for me (the external screen is at eye height and centered, which is better for my neck). Cocopar's service is great! I had issues with a previous 15" monitor (the product was fine, it was just not compatible with my desktop) and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It definitely played a part in deciding to go for this 17". It's quite expensive, but it's worth the money, at least for my use. Highly recommended if you need a large portable screen that looks great. 17" over 15" is a significant difference, and at that screen size 4K is definitely a visible improvement over 1080p.

This is a really smart piece of kit. Before I got this I did not think that the difference between a normal screen (1920 x 1080) and a 4K screen (3840 x 2160) would make so much difference. In terms of text documents I can read very small text clearly since the screen is only about 40 cm away from my eyes. I have been using this daily for over two months now. The main thing I use it for is microscopy. I used to think that my 18 mega-pixel camera on my microscope was not that clear until I saw the images on a 4K screen. They really are incredible. The colours are nice and well replicated. I have the screen mounted on a desktop stand using VESA screws in the back. Easy to do. As I do not have much desk space, this screen is ideal for my purposes. It is a solid construction. I don't intend to transport it around but it does come with a cover to protect it if I need it.

I need a portable monitor which can double as a second screen for my Windows laptop at work. I looked at cheaper models in the £125-150 range but opted for this one for the promise of a bright 4k sharp screen and decided to pay the premium. I needed help to set it up and had to buy an extra HDMI cable. Once set up and configured for use I am happy with it though I am not sure that I can fully justify the price premium for a relatively small 17" screen as I only use the screen for work documents and occasional video browsing. The build quality seems solid.

You get what you pay for! I 'blew up' my last additional monitor for my 17.5" Laptop and needed a replacement. Initially went cheaper but the brightness and resolution were not of acceptable quality. So, I dug deeper into to piggy bank and splashed out on this seeing the higher resolution. I was not disappointed! The screen oozes quality, was simple to connect and gives excellent and match resolution for my laptop. It will power up from the laptop but I chose not to as the brightness was far superior from an external power source. All cables provided.
