Excellent
Also purchased the larger Kichly pan which has been used multiple times without issue. These pans are of the same high quality. Happy Chef!

Solid, reliable, versatile cooking. Handles get hot
Very easy to use I washed with a mild detergent, then set the pan on the burner to dry thoroughly. To season the pans add a drizzle of oil and smear over the entire internal surface. The pans maintenance, appearance and overall care becomes easier, with every wash and seasoning. The sizes are perfect for my needs, the smallest is great for single portion use eg a fried egg or sautéed vegetables for an omelette. The pans are heavy and the handles get very hot quickly so you must wear protection on your hands. To prevent rust, the pans should be washed and seasoned after each use. In the beginning it may appear tiresome but well worth it Rinse and wash with warm water, let it dry thoroughly on the cooker and season with the oil of your choice, wear protective gloves once the pan is hot and you’ve got a kitchen aid for life!

Work great, fab price, but you need to know how to use them!
These arrived today, so immediately after opening them I got them seasoned properly (rubbed all over with melted coconut oil, absorbed any excess, then on a gentle hob for a good while, topping up once they were looking dry). Did the fried egg test and it passed. The nonstick features of it will only get better with regular use and proper care. Don't be put off by the certain reviews - it doesn't sound like they were using the pans right Cast iron needs properly seasoning (don't trust "pre-seasoned, it's not the same!), only washing gently and without soap or extended soaking, drying promptly and fully straight after the wash, and generally caring for... In return you get a pan that will last a lifetime, be fully nonstick (though you still need some oil) and not leach horrible chemicals into your food like teflon and other coatings do. Heat up gently on a medium heat, add oil, then let cool slightly before cooking. We've been using a Lodge pan for our main pan for a few years and love it so made sense to get some nice and at less than £20 for 3, we had to give these a go. We use on a gas hob and also on a campfire in the woods. Would recommend, but PLEASE properly research cast iron pans beforehand as there is a knack to preparing them, using them, and maintaining them... But it is absolutely worth it!

Great pans!
Great pans, had them for nearly 2 years. You need to keep on seasoning them but they cook better than non stick!

Everything sticks to these pans even when using butter/oil
Good price and sturdy heavy pans, however these are a nightmare to clean they use up a scouring pad each time trying to get the baked on food off. I use oil and butter to cook with. Had to buy stainless steel instead.

Top quality, but you must season properly before use!!
So I was far too excited to use these. Came back from Cornwall to these bad boys awaiting me. They are supposedly pre seasoned so I did steaks on the large pan. It did stick a bit (my fault, should have seasoned properly before use). The next day I spent a good few hours seasoning all 3 pans 3 times and tried again. No stick, beautiful heat and great results. Don't let the discolouration of the larger pan put you off, this is normal and will just add to the seasoning as long as you look after them PROPERLY!!! Make sure you season a few times before using (loads of videos on YouTube/google). The sear you get off these is next level (I've always used non-stick pans or griddles, no more though!!) For the price, they are fantastic, they just need a bit of love and attention to get the full potential. Don't buy if you cook and chuck pans in the sink to soak for next day!!!

Excellent quality for a low price.
Excellent quality for a low price. Ideal for roasting steaks and any meat. Proper preparation of the product before use is required, like any similar cast iron cookware. I have been using it for over a year. Remember to oil the pan after use to prevent rust.

Nice quality. Dead flat. Nice size and weight.
Nothing to complain about. They arrived safely well-packaged and protected. I washed them in warm soapy water, dried them thoroughly and seasoned them twice and finished by baking them in the oven for an hour twice. I know some people complain about rusting but, guess what? IT'S CAST IRON! IT RUSTS! Unless you dry it completely and give it a light coating of veg. oil. I'm gonna cook a sirloin steak in a few minutes. Something I haven't done in a cast iron skillet for decades, but I still remember last time - It was the best steak I ever had! Don't know why I waited so long to get another iron skillet by I'm glad I did. Great price on this set. Don't really need all 3 of them but at the price I paid, who cares? Definitely recommended!
