The included tools made disassembly of my laptop and installation of the new battery very easy. The battery has been in my laptop for a couple weeks and is working fine, time will tell if it lasts a long time. I was careful to follow the 'break-in' cycle instructions and recommend any purchaser perform them also.

I was not able to install this battery myself, so that cost me additional time and money. Two months after it was installed it is dead. Totally dead. If I unplug the adapter it shuts off. What good is getting a replacement when it will cost me $70 to have someone take it out and another $70 to put a new one on the laptop. I know this was cheap, but really, it doesn’t last more than two months?

Poor quality, replaced after five months due to battery not holing a charge for more than ONE HOUR.

It seems to work fine. I haven't had it very long.It's too soon to tell if will last very long.

I was just expecting the exact battery replacement. I did receive that but what I wasn't expecting was the little ziploc pouch of screwdrivers and the plastic pry assist to help with the assembly! The screw drivers were also magnetized so those tiny little screws were easy to reinstall! Commendable! Thank you!

It gives battery life like a new one should. It was difficult to install because it was hard to get the case open. Putting the battery in once it was open was not a problem, but closing it back was. The problems I had were not because of the battery so overall I consider it to have been a good purchase. Better than paying $80 to get someone else to change it.

Battery failed 8 months after purchase. Stopped taking a charge. Upon opening the laptop noticed one of the cells had swollen. Only saving grace was that it was relatively cheap. Should last longer then 8 months though.

Reviewing this 11 months after purchase. Easy to install, nice that the necessary tools came with it, which is very convenient. Reasonable price if it worked better. Followed the directions for charging/discharging after installation - worked very well for a few months. At about 4 months in, it seemed to be getting hotter than I remembered, about 6 months in it seemed like the charge time was higher, and the battery life was getting progressively lower. 9 months in it ceased to top off, and at 11 months it won't hold a charge and the laptop won't turn on without the adapter plugged in. Put the old battery back in the computer and it works without the adapter so I don't think it's the computer - it's this battery. This laptop doesn't travel, hasn't been used extensively or in any adverse conditions in the last 11 months, so my conclusion is this a trash battery.

Easy to install - although taking apart an HP can be a challenge! Unable to assess battery life yet, but looks promising.

It is weird to see original hp battery bloated after 2 years, almost destroying my keyboard and top cover. This replacement battery installed without problem and still going strong after 6 months of use. Hope it will keep going for at least another 2 years.

!!!BEWARE!!!! Some batteries from OrangeandLemon in China are DUDS or LEMONS. May 19 2022 I purchased a new laptop battery INDMIRD HT03XL through Amazon. 1 year warranty. Installed May 27. Since then the battery gradually lost percentage from 100 % when first installed. I contacted seller & he advised he would ship me a replacement on July 18. Shipped by OrangeandLemon on July 21 but no track number. As of Sept 6 I have not received it. Now will only charge to 40% maximum. So had to order a new replacement battery from Amazon Battery Doctor Vancouver.

The battery works great, no issues. I had found a YouTube video to show how to replace the battery (it a bit complicated); however, it didn't cover how to remove the CD/DVD player. It is not difficult, only one screw holds it in place. When removing the bottom casing, I had difficulty doing so in the area where the CD/DVD player was. I discovered that there were two small screws that had to be removed as well. The little blue tool to remove the casing worked ok at first but then the little piece at the end came off and it wasn't useful anymore. After some research, I used a plastic bread clip to open the casing. The screwdriver set that comes with the battery is great as it has magnetized tips.

I purchased this battery December 2022 and it stopped functioning June 30th 2023. It does not retain any charge. When I unplug my laptop from the outlet and go to another room my closed laptop starts shutting down. In a matter of a few seconds the laptop initiates shut down. I have to restart the laptop and reopen everything. Not happy. Update the battery started accepting a charge. All good. Happy now.
