States "whisper quiet switches", does it have membrane style switches? Need something more quiet than red switches, which to me are pretty loud.

I actually have this keyboard. They are not membrane. The alphabet keys are the special adjustable keys. The number pad, arrow keys, etc.. are regular, non adjustable, reds. I definitely would not call them whisper quiet. It is definitely louder then that of a laptop keyboard (although, I guess it depends on laptop brand). With that said, I also would not call them loud either. But, anyone in the room with you, will hear you typing. With the adjustable keys, you can, in theory, adjust them so that they are extremely sensitive. Then, lightly tap the key in order to get it to actuate. This would make them whisper quiet. Although, I imagine, would also make it difficult to type.
