I LOVE this powdered sunscreen!! I'm about to throw a whole bunch of ways you can use it at you, so grab that cup of coffee. I promise I am not in any way affiliated with this company! I just think that a quality product should be recognized so we can all benefit. I'm no "gatekeeper" (as the kids call it - lol). I have tried many/every powdered sunscreen because I have acne-prone skin and have generally found that powder is a safer bet. I used Bareminerals loose powder foundation (matte version) for years, but they changed their colors a couple of years ago and maybe the formula a little bit too. Now, even though it is still medium-to-full coverage and has an SPF of 15 (though I realize I should have been using a higher spf all along), all the colors are far too warm for my neutral, very fair skin. I have even tried the the ridiculously expensive Colorescience that has that little brush attached to the end. It's not good, and I'd have to sell a kidney to keep buying it. Out of desperation, this acne-prone gal bit the bullet and decided to try some liquid/cream sunscreens. I have found several that don't break me out, but I find they need something to keep the finish looking good (not super shiny). Using this sunscreen on top leaves my skin looking like velvet, as another reviewer commented. I use this sunscreen over tinted sunscreen (First Aid Beauty's new Weightless Liquid Mineral Sunscreen is liquid-y and feels light but, for a more reasonably-priced and more matte option, try Australian Gold Botanical Tinted Face spf 50). I still find both need this powdered sunscreen on top to last longer and look good. Plus, it's so much easier to reapply a powdered sunscreen over makeup than a cream one. If your sunscreen is a bit too warm and/or dark, you can apply this powder over it with a heavier hand/more generously, and it will tone the color beautifully! At the same time, I have to say that this does NOT have that horrible white cast, it's just going to lighten the look of your skin a little bit. If you find it to be too white, mix in some other powder (I sometimes mix it with my leftover Bare Minerals loose powder foundation to make it look less orange). It DOES offer great sun protection, but it's also a cosmetically elegant formula that you can use as a finishing powder or 'freshening' powder, even at night. It will seriously "freshen" your makeup, making it look like you've just applied it. I transferred some into a little jar with a sifter for easy portability and just popped a travel kabuki brush in my purse for easy reapplication at any time of day. Taking care of your skin is truly part of taking care of your health. You will find this to be a pleasure to use. BUY IT :)

This has been a life-saver for me. I literally cannot say enough good things about this. It not only protects my skin from burns in an intense desert climate, it also has significantly reduced acne and irritation. It works so well that I had to do a little chemistry research to find out why it works so well... This product contains arrowroot powder, which is non-comedogenic, meaning it doesn't tend to clog pores. It actually is an absorbent powder, so it pulls away excess oils that would normally give me acne breakouts. So far, research has also shown some anti-inflammatory properties in arrowroot powder. This could explain why my skin feels less red and painful. So my hatred for sunscreen has ended now that I found this product. Until now, my skin was being irritated by almost every skin product, even dermatologist prescribed ones, or sunscreen by CeraVe (which is highly recommended for acne-prone and sensitive skin)... that makes my skin oily with large pores too. So this powder sunscreen has simplified my routine drastically- in a 100% positive way. That even includes my deodorant routine... I have always struggled to find an effective deodorant with my skin sensitivities. Even natural ones with no aluminum gave me very dark rings under my arms, and the baking soda method was too harsh for my skin. So I had rashes and bumps as a constant struggle. During my research I found out that arrowroot has some great deodorant properties, because it absorbs sweat but is less harsh than baking soda. The other ingredient, Zinc Oxide, is added here as sun protectant, but it also has anti-bacterial properties that boost its deodorant abilities. That being said, I don't usually use it as a stand alone- I use a base like magnesium spray, and then pat this on top. But if I'm not going to be getting that hot, I just pat this on by itself. It lasts about 8 hours for me with moderate activity, and then I usually wipe with water and reapply. It's made life SO much easier- my dreadful war with deodorants has also ended with this lovely product. I don't have rashes under my arms or dark circles. Actually, the fact that it's white has eliminated those dark circles over time, and the skin feels healthy again. Helpful tips: Color: If you are medium to dark skinned like I am, it really helps to use a soft cloth or piece of cotton to gently wipe excess powder from your skin. (This is vital for me because it makes me look like a have chalk on my face and arms otherwise.) Powder consistency: It is super, super fine... this is part of what makes my skin feel so silky smooth, so I love it. But!! I still have to remind myself to apply it slowly, because if I pat it on too fast, I inhale some of the powder, which makes my throat dry. Patience: Figuring out how this worked best for me was trial and error. But right from the get-go I could tell I liked it. It just took a bit of research and understanding of my skin type until I found the best routine for me. When to Apply: Besides sun protection, I find it best to apply for acne-soothing uses after showering, when my skin is clean and my pores are not blocked. After moisturizing, patting this on as a last-step works best. If I put the powder on first and then try to moisturize, it will form little white clumps. For deodorant, same applies, I use it after showering. Everyone's skin care journey is different and I wish everyone the best to find what works for them! For me, this is my go-to. Please keep making this!!!!!

I use it on my hairline part. I have black hair and it needs a little rubbing in but it’s not any worse than any dry shampoo. I just use a q-tip to apply it only where I want it and it works fine. I also keep it in a powder case with a puff applicator to wear over my skincare during the day. It has a bit of a white caste after application, but it’s not too noticeable on me since I’m very pale, but should be noted for darker skin tones. I like that it’s a physical sun blocker that I can apply on top of my morning skincare that already includes SPF for extra protection and it doesn’t add a new greasy layer like reapplying sunscreen lotion would. I don’t wear foundation makeup, so I can’t speak to it caking or changing the shade, but I do not feel any caking when I wear it over moisturized skin.

My challenges: very oily skin, prone to break-outs with cream or lotion sunscreens (even those formulated for the face), and an Rx that makes me very sensitive to the sun. Because cream and lotion sunscreens break out my face, I used to rely on moisturizers or foundations with built in SPF, but those need to be applied liberally to get sun protection, and also need to be reapplied for continued sun protection throughout the day -- which is impractical as it just feels (and looks) like a bunch of gunk on oily skin. So was I reapplying? No way, that was gross (if I wanted to add more product on top of what was on my skin) or time-consuming (if I wanted to get rid of what was on my skin and start over with a fresh face). So was I really protected from the sun? Not after a few hours after getting ready in the morning. I was resigned to wearing a big floppy hat when I went outside in the afternoon, and it was a bummer. Enter powder SPF sunscreen and all these problems are gone! I have a good daytime skincare (just a toner and a small dab of eye cream, and very thin layer of a serum before a minimal application of tinted moisturizer) and makeup routine right now that has my skin clear and minimizes how much gunk I put on my face. I've replaced my setting powder with this SPF powder, and it gives me a soft matte look that doesn't feel heavy on my skin (and the price per ounce is so much better than regular setting powder!). The best part is, I can REAPPLY this powder often during the day for continued sun protection and my skin can still breathe, and my makeup doesn't slide around on an oily face -- so for the first time in my life, I actually do reapply sun protection throughout like we're supposed to (and it's as simple as any touch-up with any face powder). I also love that I can put this on my ears, my hair part, and my neck without worrying about it transferring to my long hair and giving it greasy patches. This powder feels and looks better than any other version of sunscreen I've tried, and I've tried a lot. I never want to go back to non-powder sunscreen above my shoulders!

Good product, misleading weights. As you can see in photo, brand new sealed container weighed 3.7 oz. Advertised is 4 oz of powder sunscreen. I emptied the container, it weighs 0.9 oz empty. So, for an advertised 4 oz of product, you received 2.8 oz. This is fraudulent.

I absolutely love this product and I’m so happy I purchased it! I break out no matter what spf product I use on my face and I spent so much money wasted because they all caused pimples every day. I switched to one of the physicians formula powders because it’s spf 30, but I don’t really like the way it looks on my skin, color and longevity. But this stuff looks way better and natural and it’s waaaaay cheaper! I first tried it over my foundation and powder and it looks amazing on me! The whole whitish look people talk about isn’t a problem like what people say in my opinion. Although I am pretty fair. My skin looked like velvet with this on top of my foundation and powder. It’s so nice to have an spf that does all this! Oh and by the way I poured some into an old powder compact and used it with a round powder applicator and it worked perfectly for me. Thank you so much for this product! Update: I switched to using this powder after applying my foundation, using it as a setting powder and it sets it wonderfully. It also absorbs any oil throughout the day. My face is way less oily using this. Then, I apply my face powder on top. It’s a process, but worth it. I find using it after the foundation and before face powder is the best way for me to use it. Also, putting my face powder on top of it helps blend the lightness of the spf powder away. I’m about to order another bottle of this amazing product!!

Bought as a safer option for my kiddos. Wish it was a higher SPF. Works for about a half hour. Very easy to use, odorless. Does leave a white mask but so does regular sunscreen. Be sure to pay attention to exposed skin and time frame when using this product

As someone who hates the feeling of most SPF lotions, this powder was everything I wanted and more! The powder rubs in easily, and it doesn't feel chalky on the skin. It is also excellent for people with sensitive skin. Many sunscreen lotions have irritated my skin, but this SPF powder hasn't been an issue for me. I will definitely be purchasing again when I run out!
