NICE PIECE OF RAM
Ram performs as expected. However the Toshiba laptop I put it in won't read other piece of ram in it now.. This is not unusual for a Toshiba laptop I have two of them. These are early model Vista system laptops with both 32 and 64 bit capabilities and you should be aware of limitations of your operating systems and ability to read ram. Don't shoot the product if it's not the products fault. Vista is first of resource hogging systems but they are very stable. Both laptops about 8 years old and still run perfect. If you have problem with speed or performance look into "Ready Boost Option for Vista operating system" which requires using a thumb drive or any other added usb drive for increased performance. This is a great fix. I am running max ram on 32 bit Vista Home Premium (3 gb) is all it will read running 32 bit) and I still use the "Ready Boost Option for increased performance.

Product worked great in my computer.
I bought two of these one for each of my computers. One worked great the other did not appear to be compatible. I liked the product. It seemed to have pretty good quality for the price. The one that worked, worked real well in my netbook and it resulted in improved performance. The computer booted noticeably faster with 2GB of memory instead of the 1GB that it came with. I recommend upgrading the memory. For the small price, it was cheaper than getting a new computer. Now the computer will be better able to upgrade to Windows 7 with 2GB of memory instead of the minimum recommended 1GB.

Upgraded my Laptop Memory
Not a lot to review here...this was the memory that I needed to upgrade my laptop from 3 GB to 4 GB. For those of you who don't know, this is RAM and if you max out the capacity of your PC or Laptop, you can speed it up. This is the cheapest way to upgrade a computer and delay buying a new one. There is a free utility program out there called SIW, that when you run it on your computer, will tell you everything about your system, including the memory. It will detail how many slots you have, and how much you have installed in each slot. For example, my laptop had 2 slots, that would hold 2 GB each. One slot had 2 GB, and the other slot had 1 GB. This meant I could remove the 1 GB card and install a second 2 GB card to max out my system, and give it a little more processing speed.OH!...When you do a Google search for SIW, because it is very popular and very useful, everyone and their cousin has taken it and coupled it with a downloader program or toolbar or some such nonsense. Some have even set up viruses to be associated with it, so make sure your anti-virus is updated and turned on before you start to download anything, so that it can help protect you by warning you when you try to go to an infected site. Whatever you do, don't use a downloader or toolbar. They simply act as ad-ware with pop-up ads, and use up memory (that you are trying to upgrade!). The original author of the program offers it as a paid program now too. It's actually worth it if you don't want to dig to find a free copy. The program will also tell you what type of memory you have/need for your system plus a lot more. It's very simple to replace the memory card. Turn off your laptop (a FULL shutdown, not sleep mode), unplug it, and REMOVE the battery.Look for a panel on a laptop that indicates memory and unscrew the panel. The memory cards will have some sort of "latch" holding them tight. Undo this and remove the card, or simply insert the card into an empty slot and ensure it is "latched" down.(Note, the cards will have a notch that prevents you from installing a desktop card into a laptop and vice versa. If the card doesn't fit, you have the wrong type for your device. The pin numbers are different. Desktop has usually 240 pin, laptop has 200 pins. There are some variations, so double check your needs. Also, make sure your card is right side up too!)Replace the cover, battery and/or cord, and reboot your computer. You computer will automatically pick up the new card and start using it. If you want, you can re-run SIW to double check the card is working.I only gave 4 stars because, well, it's just memory, and nothing amazing happened when I upgraded. It's a commodity. But it's fine, so if you need it, buy this! :)

4 Gigabits of Memory, Blows Computer's Mind
Bought 2 to upgrade my iMac 2007 model to the maximum of 4 GB. Worked so well it accelerated the death of my 750 GB Hitachi internal hard drive (it was 8 years old though) after just 1 day of use. So after getting a new hard drive installed, then installing all the OS X from Leopard on and finally using Time Machine to insert my stuff back, it works great. It is a wee bit faster than before and it is now a new computer thanks to the new 4 GB of RAM and a new internal hard drive. Glad the computer didn't blow up due to the new RAM (LOL). I can use it.

Excellent product, price and service
I replaced the RAM on my iMac (vintage 2007) with two, 2 GIG cards from CalvinNHobbs. I was surprised to find such a low price. The better known online memory stores were charging two to three times as much. The iMac, which had slowed considerably apparently because of RAM issues, worked at normal speed after I installed the new RAM. After ordering, I submitted two questions to CalvinNHobbs regarding shipping. Both questions were answered clearly within hours of being submitted. I would definitely recommend this vendor.

Mostly good reviews but a few bad
my 2007 iMac had gotten very sluggish running on 3Gig of RAM. Ordered this 2Gig board after a few minutes of searching - it was half the price of nearest comp. Mostly good reviews but a few bad. It arrive very quickly - couple of days. Swapped it out with native 1 Gig board - rebooted and the iMac came back up no problem ...and I got huge performance boost - I think it just cuts way down on need for disc cashing.

Perfect for MacBook Pro 2007-2008
I wanted to update my MacBook Pro to El Capitan, however the poor little 2G that came with the laptop would not be sufficient. I looked up the specs of the laptop and said I could upgrade to 4G max. Order these RAM modules, slapped them in and they were easily recognized. Basically, plug and play. El Capitan runs just fine now.

Ram could have worked
Hello all I bought this ram "2GB PC2-5300 667MHZ DDR2 Sdram by Lenovo" by CalvinandHobbs installed this ram in a hp dv 4310us it wouldn't boot at all afterwards. Put the old ram back in booted fine. I then tried only one stick of the new ram with one of the old, still no boot. I'm in the process of returning it I will update my review with a comment on the sellers handling of the return.Edit: Feb 2015Whoa long time huh. Well I needed to follow up with the review. CalvinandHobbs did an excellent job with the return they didn't give me any trouble at all and gave me a full refund. I believe the problem is I had an older laptop and it would only recognize 2gb of Ram so I believe the Ram that was supplied to me would have been OK quite possibly. So I changed my review to 5 stars.

Speicher halt ...
Was soll ich hier groร schreiben? Es handelt sich um einen Speicherbaustein und er funktioniert.Erstaunlich ist vielleicht nur die groรe Preisspanne fรผr ein und den selben Speicherbaustein. Also unbedingt die Preise vergleichen.
