Inexpensive. Not fancy but fancy isn’t needed.
It’s a great tool. It does the job. There are more expensive versions out there and probably better finished. Not needed. Use the QR code on the package, watch the video, learn to use the tool. Toss it in your pocket or clip to your vest or pack. Go fishing! By the way, learn the triple surgeon knot to attach pieces of leader and tippet. It’s simple and you don’t need a tool for that. Learn the improved clinch knot and a loop knot to attach fly to leader.

This tool is super helpful, it saves me so much time.

It works and it’s easy.
I haven’t had the chance to use it while fishing but I’ve tied lots of knots with a - tying on flies, splicing line, leader to fly line. It woks. Myself eyes and my hand don’t work as well as they used to. With this tool I’m not fighting the line to keep the loop open at the fly so I can poke the tag end back through the loop that’s try to twist closed. I did a lot of tying so it would become second nature but mostly I just enjoyed messing with it. Watch the video a couple of times and try a couple of ties. It’s really easy. Made in USA. Also you’re tying the knot about 3” from the fly so you don’t get wiggle legs and other hackle caught up in the knot. After the knot is complete you draw the knot down to the hook eye. I guess you use a little more line in making these knots but monofilament is cheap. Fishing time isn’t.

A must have good as reading glasses
You need one of these if you’re a fisherman and maybe you need the big brother you can tie a monofilament nail knot around most anything that’ll fit into the tool quick and slick

I have nothing but great things to say about this tool, its so easy to use , and gives a nice tight knot everytime. Put a string on it so i dont loose it when im in my one man fishing pontoon boat.

Tut was es soll. Nach etwas Übung können auch kleine Plättchenhaken gebunden werden.
