1/8 Mamba Monster X ESC

These ESC’s are easy to setup with the Castle Link program. They stay cool under extreme conditions and are very reliable. When it comes to RC ESC’s you can’t go wrong with Castle Creations products

Press fits perfectly right into my TEN-SCBE with practically zero need for mounting hardware or tape. Ill be rest assured I wont smoke another ESC again any time soon.

Love this esc. I have several rc cars, and this thing rocks. Super smooth, killer brakes, and fully programmable. I have three of them with absolutely no failures. Use one in my Lasernut, I know it's overkill, but nothing else would allow it to hit 80mph without cutting out. Have one in 6s Kraton with a huge Castle motor and bought another for my Rival MT10. Again, overkill. This thing just works well.

The ESC does work great, but whoever handles the shipping gives a vague 3 day window. Also the ESC does not come with a connector or the motor wires soldered Also in this picture here, its in a Slash 4×4 regular chassis. It needs the rpm cage to mount properly, but 1 screw does have to be at an angle

Car for dumped by one of those giant fountains that emerge directly out of the concrete like a pillar of water 💦 Fryed the esc bought a motor esc combo that exploded for nobreason in provoke... Ttested 1st motor and it worked so I was apprehensive because this is a step down supposed in relation to the one I fried. To my amazement runs the beefed up motor with shockingly impressive speed and razor sharp response worth the money for the mechanism

Words can't explain the awesomeness of this esc. It's completely overkill for what I'm using it for but I know I don't have to worry about not having enough power or overheating. And I love the fact that you can program it, so I recommend getting the castle link or castle link field card. If you don't your missing out on alot of options. If I had to give one negative it would be that you have to solder or have a hobby shop solder all the leads and wires. But with that said, the more serious you get into this hobby the more customizing you have to do. I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about having fun in RC cars or trucks. Well worth the money.

I'm aware that I pay a premium for name-brand electronics like this. Sometimes I save money and try the underdogs. This was a case where I did that and things went wrong. I fell back on the Castle in a pinch--everything worked out fine. It runs cool, the BEC is stout, and programming is a breeze if you setup Castle-Link.

Great esc. Programs great, runs cool. I'm just using 3s Holmes Trailmaster 3700, but runs smoothly.
