I had bought the big mats that you lay under the rugs and they just don’t work well. Saw these and thought I’d give them a try. Wow! They work great! My rugs stay in place! I love that you can cut them to your desired length.

Like many other reviews state, these are not meant to be placed on a rug then have the rug moved to a different spot when you're rearranging. They're for when you want your rug to stay put in the same spot for a good long while. They're very sticky and I was having issues with my jute rug sliding around on my hardwood floors by the front door because of all the traffic, plus my psychotic dog that has to do a backflip in the front entry way any time someone knocks. I put these on, worrying that they weren't going to adhere to the jute material but they adhered really well and my rug has not BUDGED. Great product, 10/10 will definitely be buying again for my other rugs.

I actually really like this product and it seems to work great. It keeps my rugs from getting caught up in the door every time I open them. The rugs were curling on the edges from vacuuming so the doors and rugs combo were becoming a hassle. These work great for fixing that! I only gave it 4 stars bc I ordered 17 and only received 9. I do believe this was a mix up with shipping and doesn’t have anything to do with the products performance, but it is a hassle. I’d add photos to show the error of my order but amazon isn’t giving me that option on this review.

The rug grippers work as expected. No longer do the edges of the rug roll up and create a tripping hazard. They are a good value, particularly with the inclusion of the bonus gripper and small cleaning cloth. Many thanks.

We have hardwood floors and our 16' runner was a nightmare to keep straight. Bought these grippers and they work great! We have 2 dogs and they've stood up to their zoomies! Would buy again. FYI, our floors are hardwood.

It was easy to install but unfortunately the adhesive quality is poor. I attached to pieces to a small bathroom rug 20 inch x I6 inch In my small downstairs bathroom and the rug was on a tile floor. No shower or bathtub, within a week the rug was moving around with only me being the only one using the bathroom. Very disappointed in lack of adhesion considering the the large size grips and I used 2 on a small rug. Returned it.

I don’t usually write product reviews because personally I think it’s a waste of time, but this product made me think twice. So this will be quite a read. We finally bought a rug for our new apartment and I started off with those rug gripper mats, I base a lot of things I buy in other peoples reviews and price (I don’t mean cheap). The rug gripper mat I originally bought had high flying reviews and it worked out great, BUT! the rug curls up and moves when my boyfriend goes on it. He’s permanently on a wheelchair so every time he goes on it he gets stuck, again the rug moved and folds up, and struggling to move on it frustrates him, which makes me feel bad too. I saw the price and compared other gripper pads with this, and it took me a good couple days to compare a lot of these items since I didn’t want to disappoint. I took a chance with this and I WE ARE BOTH extremely happy this with product. Of course I had to add more strips to than just the corners, but this sh** really grips! Boyfriend wheelchair can go on and off the rug and go across the living room without any worries at all!!! I can’t stress enough how happy I am with this product. I already have another other in our cart for another set to grip our door mat rug and more as well. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

We had a kitchen mat that we liked, but the backing material eventually degraded and powdered away (made in China). I removed the rest of the degraded backing and coated the back of the mat with left over roof coating material that I had. This has worked very well, but the roof coating backing made the mat a bit "slippy" on the wood floor. I needed something like two-sided tape to non-permanently secure the mat to the floor so that it would not slip if stepped on at an angle. The "non-slip rug gripper" was purchased to solve this problem. So far, it has worked well securing the mat to the wood floor. I tried lifting a corner of the mat to take a picture but the rug gripper stayed stuck to the floor instead of staying with the mat. So it sticks better to wooden floors than it does to coated mat backing. I did follow the directions and put the floor side toward the floor and the rug side toward the rug. I have not tried removing the rug gripper from the floor but I really don't expect I will have a problem if I decide to remove it at a later date. The rug gripper package came with 9 pieces, 2 for each corner and an extra for boo-boos. I used just 1 piece on each corner at a diagonal to the corner (the mat is fairly small) and this seems to work well for the size and stiffness of mat that we have. Very satisfied with the product so far.
