Hunter Studio Series, Indoor, Ceiling Fan, Quiet, 52 inch, Brushed Nickel

Don’t open any of the plastic bags inside that hold screws/parts u til you read the directions - each bag is marked & they hold specific parts for each step so don’t get them mixed together! Some of the screws are really tiny so make a point of trying to hold on to them - if you drop them, they may disappear. They do have a few extras of some of the items in a separate bag but just be careful - I found that using a Philips head screwdriver with a MAGNETIC TIP was a HUGE plus! If you don’t have one of those this would be a great time to invest in one!! Directions were easy to follow, they have video tutorials to watch for each step so just take your time & review those as you go along. I was able to install this by myself but it would be easier to have an extra set of hands to keep from going up & down the ladder so many times. Finished product looks great, works great, moves hella air. Price on Amazon was the best I could find & with the LED bulbs, I shouldn’t have to replace those for a LONG, LONG time. Am hoping I can get a good 15 yrs out of this but we’ll see. I will likely buy more of this model to replace others in my house now that I’ve done it & know what it entails, should go easier/faster, not that the install was especially challenging or anything. Totally doable for someone with average homeowner skills - the wiring was very simple & straightforward, not a big deal at all & that’s what I was most leery about! Don’t let that dissuade you, it’s quite simple - just remember to turn the circuit breaker off that controls that light fixture before you wade into this project. Also, if you don’t have a lot of ambient light in the room where you’re doing this - you may want to have an extra portable light source so you can clearly see what you’re doing while installing this!

This Hunter ceiling fan is very well made and the antique brass is complimentary to the room decor. It is very quiet when it is running. The four 40 watt soft white bulbs provide adequate lighting. I replaced a 27-year-old Hunter ceiling fan with this new one. Hunter fans are quiet, dependable, and well made. This fan is not a flush mount, and is about two inches from the ceiling. Luckily I have enough ceiling clearance for it in the room. I will continue to buy Hunter fans. They are a quality made product and last for years. The fan arrived in excellent condition. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I purchased this Hunter fan to replace the ceiling fan in my study - we've been in this ten year old house for just over a year, and I was not happy with the fan or with the lighting it provided. It also was making some noise at high speed, suggesting that the motor bearings might be wearing out. I chose this Hunter fan mostly because it includes a light fixture with 4 lamps pointing downwards into the room, and I thought that would provide the best choice for lighting. The fan diameter, 52", is the same as the fan it replaced. I was impressed by the quality of the fan during installation - the assembly is intelligently designed to make it as easy as possible to install on the ceiling, the ceiling bracket has rubber bumpers where it fits against the ceiling, the fan blades are attached using rubber grommets, wiring is straightforward, and the packaging even includes a few extra parts as spares. Compared to the fan I removed, the assembly is considerably better designed. The fan blades are different shades of stain on the two sides so you can chose which one you prefer. I have Philips Hue LED smart bulbs installed in my fan, giving me greater control over the lighting and at highest intensity the lighting in my study is just what I was looking for. The fan itself is quiet and powerful, noticeably better than the older fan I replaced. In all respects I'm fully satisfied with this fan and happy with the choice I've made.

I purchased this fan to replace the bedroom ceiling fan we had for 37 years. The mounting bracket is superior and has rubber foot pads that are pulled onto the ceiling by the circuit box mounting screw. The most tedious part of assembly is installing the 15 damping grommets into the holes of the blades. The antique light-bronze finish is very pleasing. The shape of the squarish blade tips are very plain compared to the one we had before. The four frosted glass globes have no appeal at all, so I used the open flower shaped globes from my old fan. I did like the heavy weighted pull chains for the switches, but the slot in the pull chain joiners had to be spread apart before they could be used. There was an extra cover that looked like it could only be used to eliminate the light kit, but this piece was not covered in the instructions, and you can't eliminate the light kit because the fan switch is in there. As another reviewer mentioned, the five additional screws for the blade-arms were in a bag not referenced in the instructions. Overall the instructions were not written well, but the house wiring guide was very well done. I'm impressed with the bearings on this fan and it runs very silently, however, there is a slight wobble at the highest speed and I will try to balance this out when I get a chance. Finally, the included bulbs are not a good choice. They are identical to the very bright lights in my wife's vanity. I replaced them with the warmer flame-shaped LED bulbs from our old fan. Maybe it doesn't sound like I'm happy with my choice of this fan, but I am.

We purchased this ceiling fan to replace an extremely old one in our kitchen. Instead of reading the directions, we found it much easier to watch a YouTube video on how to assemble and install the fan. The only issue we had was putting the rubber grommets on the fan blades to hold the arms. You have to really work at it to get them into the holes. I was afraid to press too hard in fear of breaking the blade! Once we got it installed and turned the power on, the light worked but not the fan. My husband pulled the cover down from top of the fan and found that a black wire had come loose from the wire nut. Once he fixed that, it worked great! The main reason we chose this fan is the antique brass finish and the four lights. I like a bright kitchen, and this one does not disappoint! The small 40W LED light bulbs are great!

Great fan, exactly what I expected from a Hunter fan. I can't hear any noise from the fan motor at any speed setting, only the "whoosh" of air sound on medium and high. From the description and reviews I wasn't sure what light bulb type it would use. I was pleased when it arrived and had 4 standard base 7W (40 Watt equivalent) LED bulbs included. It will work with either LED's or incandescent. It does take a while to install because of all the parts, so allow yourself at least a couple of hours. I switched the short downrod that it came with it to a 3' down rod since the room has a 12' ceiling. After installing there was a slight wobble in the fan. It wasn't much even on high, but I decided to see if I could improve it. (A blade balancing kit and instructions was included in the box with the fan.) I was skeptical, but I followed the directions and 20 minutes later, no more wobble, even with the 3' downrod, at high or low speed. The only negative is that there is a significant difference between the medium speed and the slow speed. I wish there was another speed between those.

I live in Florida and believe me when I tell you, fans are very important. I did have to wait 4 months for delivery and this was totally aggravating. Like cars, this fan was made in China. I finally had my new fan (replaced a 41 year old one) installed by an electrician yesterday. I also purchased the remote. I have 2 small Maltese dogs. How I wish they could write this review. They sleep on my bed with me. Fan is mounted a little beyond the foot of my bed, and that's where my "girls" sleep. I don't think they moved all night. I also have COPD The fan is perfect, silent, ran beautifully. I didn't wake up one time with the feeling that I couldn't breathe. One thing I feel negative about are the light bulbs. When lights are turned on, my bedroom is so bright, I feel I am at Fenway Park. Toooooooooo bright. I will need to change bulbs.

Fan look great i have one complaint it doesn't push air around room like other fans i have on hot days you dont feel breeze would not buy again

I purchased this fan as I wanted a Hunter, white, 52 inch fan with 4 lights. Absolutely perfect.

I ve got the product and it ran for 10 mins. I contacted the seller and he informed me its US product and need converter which seems none of the electricians knows in UAE. The seller finally informed me to contact the manufacturer :). Just be careful before buying this as you will be left with a useless fan.

We've had this fan for a few months now. Very pleased with it. Smooth install. Straight forward well presented instructions. We had to look for awhile to find one of these, but it was worth it.
