as expected, the lock is providing security for an iMac that is in a location that could potentially walk. lock features are great, and the storage bag it came in was unexpected and nice, but will probably never be used again.

Until Apple stops making their laptops so easy to steal...
It's true that it hurts the sleek look of the Macbook, but it's better than having it stolen from some hotel. Some argue you could cut this easy with a bolt cutter, but that is also true for bike chains and you wouldn't leave that unlocked. For quick grab thieves, this will deter them, and it's easy to use. By the way, this seems to be a universal laptop lock, so it should also work on laptops with the side lock thing.

TERRIBLE! The lock is so loose it’s a terrible design. Skip this one!!!
When using the lock pad, there’s so much play in the lock. Awful design!

Great way to keep your laptop from walking off
Obviously if someone wants to take a laptop they will, but this is a great deterrent. Our intent is to keep anyone from taking it out of the office and using it elsewhere in the building without permission. Just a little extra security.
