My board will not fire up the monitor, there is a green light followed by a blinking red light, please help.

I am having the same problem, made sure it was the right model number DV170YGZ-N10 but just getting cycling of colours on the monitor. Did you manage to resolve this?

There's a connector on the board for speakers which from touching contacts I can confirm works. But is there a contact plug I can use to connect up?

How do you connect the light up marquee

There is a signal cable the connecting the screen ,You can connect that cable to this board ,then power on and enter HDMI signal . Then the marquee monitor will be lit up . But pls confirm the screen model no. before shipping . If you can 't make sure ,Pls contact us via Amazon message.
