Basic and general quality but needed

Yeeeeeeah, so sometimes I don't read so good ... I thought this thing was bigger! When it came in the mail, I was like ... Are you the kid brother to what I ordered. Nope ... The error was all mine, and I couldn't be more pleased. This little guy squeezes into those inside joints where measuring for 90 can be tough! I am surprised at how frequently I use this! It's the first thing I put in my pocket or apron now, and I'm constantly using it to quickly check for square. It easily fits into any pocket, and it is super well made. You can drop it, kick it around, whack it with a hammer and it still does its job flawlessly. I love this thing!

Well made except …. The outside 90 has a very slight bump of a few thousandths along the bottom of the thin piece. The inside 90 appears to be fine. I bought a smaller square of the same brand and that also has the same issue. If I were a machinist it would be a problem but I’m a woodworker so absolute accuracy is not that critical. Good price, fast shipping.

Great little square. I needed something small enough to check my tabletop bandsaw and miter saw blade square-ness. This is well made and the perfect size. It's sturdy and has a nice weight to it.

I just wanted a reasonably sized (table saw blade proportional sizing) square to primarily check blade alignment on a range of saws. Sorry, I forget the size but it was one sizing up. And it's quite good, the smaller one would have worked but been undersized. But, the unexpected benefit is the base (foot of the L) is Really Heavy and will stand up on it's own nicely. This just does an angle check. It does not have any measurement scales or such. Just basic and well done.

I, along with a number of other people in my violin repair and construction class, got this square for everyday use since it’s small and pocket sized. We all had issues with it. It was already starting to rust when it arrived and mine barely lasted a single week of regular use before the joint became wiggly and refused to stay square despite my efforts to fix it, rendering it useless. Of the 4 or 5 of us that bought this, only one lasted longer than a month. One person’s was inaccurate from the start. If you need precision, I definitely would NOT recommend.

For $12.00 dollars it is hard to beat. You could easily spend 4 or 5 times this amount going with one of the big brand names like Woodpeckers. Nothing against Woodpecker, they make a lot of cool tools and if I had money to burn I might own some of them. I just wanted something to do a quick check of my cuts, table saw blade stuff like that and this $12 square works great. It's like a sore peter...…you just cant beat it.

I've bought several of these squares. They are a very usable size for setting up machinery and testing the square of tools. I would recommend them to other handymen.
