iOS recognize it immediately, application is fast quick simple

A must have for securing your digital life. Not the easiest to get set up, but one email to yubikey customer service and I was all set. Recommended for anyone who cares about their online security.

These days it's the basis. I have a few of these keys, and I can't imagine security without them. 2FA yes but only offline! No SMS, no passkey on a device we don't control, or in the cloud etc. No intermediaries, i.e. “we want to have copies just in case, for your safety” ha ha of course. It's only safe outside the network. Login, password, that can be intercepted, but a key that's in your pocket is impossible. And that element that really protects you.

Easy to set up. Adds another layer of protection!

It provides what I was looking for, extra layer of security.

GOOD AND SIMPLE!

Lightening connector snapped off within 1 week on two separate devices. Purchased second as time-critical, same thing happened within a week. One of the remaining USB-C connectors died after 8 months leaving a useless brick. Order continues to work albeit without casing as this fell off within 2 months of purchase. Good principle but hardware/casing implementation not fit fur purpose. To think they meant to be "IP68 rated: dust tight and water submersible, I'm not sure I would be plugging one of these into mains electricity if it got wet! May have lasted if kept in bubble wrap in and never moved, but it’s designed to plug into an iPhone and be carried on keys. Actually experience if of a fragile device needing to be in a hardened box not a keyring. Look at the two sorry items compared to the Yubikey 5 purchased same time. Caveat Emptor!

Works on a pc usb c but every company I tried to use it with connected to the iPhone firewire does not allow you to use it as company policy apart from a few password manager apps and you only need one of them.

It is my first time using. Yubico key but the configuration is simple and it works with all platform’s that require multi factor authentication. It works for apple devices and usb c devices it’s small which is great for keeping with you on a keychain but I would suggest getting 2 in case one gets lost. Great product.{edited}
