Makes every OEM seat so much more comfortable
My wife and I have 2 can am spyders. Their seats aren't that comfortable. Without customizing a seat, like a Seth Lamm, at great expense, this is the next best alternative. I've used mine on a Honda, a Suzuki with a Corbin, and then moved it to the can am. I've had mine since 2009. My wife used mine on an extended trip on hers and really liked it. I have the original, this Rev B is more breathable. Add air to only the thinnest amount that fits you. Great seat pad

Numb chums
So I bought this motorcycle seat cushion for my little cottage on brown lane. Now, I did not take a long ride, so this may need to be updated, I just popped up the road to Safeway to get some tucker for my tea. The Airhawk is a semi inflatable device that has a little nozzle that you inflate and you have to let the air out a bit as you sit on it to get to the right pressure for your own particular weight and the shape of your dumper. My initial feeling was that even a half an inch, when it comes to ones keister, is really noticeable. My second reaction was that it pushed me forward a bit in the riding position. The Triumph Sprint is a Sport Tourer, the sport part of which means the riding position is a little more aggressive than a cruiser or an adventure bike, therefore your back leans forward, weight more over the handlebars and as it relates to this review, it also means your family jewels are right up against the tank. So when I say that the seat cushion pushes you forward, I mean that the twig and berries, already under pressure, become quickly quite intimately involved with the tank, like if you had just met an Essex girl on the dance floor in Ibiza. So, I did not go on a long ride, just up to the shops, I am not sure this is a fair review at this point. It did seem like there was real value to be had in the comfort for the fart factory, although, the increased weight on the dickenbalz may negate that? I don't want to jump to conclusions because, given the riding position, the proximity to the tank will always make the old banana and plums go a little numb anyway, so maybe the new cushion will just accelerate the process and I won't notice my walrus faced man jubblies at all and will just be happy to have more comfort in the chocolate pantry? Perhaps, having less irritation in the captain's quarters will out weigh the potential irritation to Ricardo and the twins? Is it possible that I may enjoy increased vibration for my spunk nuggets and the reduced annoyance to Botty von Thunderhausen be just a side benefit? As I learn more I will reveal everything to you immediately. My biggest concern is whether or not this effect will make any difference in performance for Willly and The Bronads or Dr Sphincternstein? The good news is that the air hawk has some room for adjustment. It may be that if the numbness in my wedding tackle becomes unbearable, I can reach down between my legs and fiddle with it a bit. I hope I haven't pushed my point too hard but when it comes to taking care of my honey baked buns, I like to hammer it home. This, obviously, is no laughing matter, The true test is yet to come, it may not be as bad as first observed. If the worst comes to worst and the Airhawk causes too much irritation to my gentleman's sausage, I can always stop on the side of the road and pull it off. Also, COCK.

Pretty Much Works As Advertised
I did a lot of research in my hunt for the best seat cushion for my 2015 Road Glide. I like going on long distance trips and already tried having my seat custom re-done by a pretty well known company in North Carolina. It was way better than stock, but it still killed me after several hours. Although many products kept popping up in my research, the Airhawk was consistently in the top three recommended products so I gave it a shot. It was delivered on a Tuesday and on that Wednesday I set off for a work conference in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I came back Saturday after 1,127 miles with the Airhawk. On Thursday I took off again for the U.P. and put on another 1,083 miles. Here are my impressions: Is it better than just a stock seat? Yes, in my opinion it was much better than the stock seat even after being customized. Having said that, there is a definite learning curve. A lot of the videos and reviews mention that the most common mistake people make is over filling it. I decided to barely inflate it at all and then stopped every so often and made adjustments. Sometimes I would add more and sometimes I would let a little out until I found my personal sweet spot. Is it comfortable? Yes. At first it feels a little weird because you are sitting on a bunch of interconnected air bladders that sort of inflate and deflate depending on how you move. One thing I liked was that if I ever started feeling a little sore I could shift my weight around on the seat and things would get better. Is it the sore-butt killing magic bullet we've all been looking for? No, I wouldn't go that far. I was certainly more comfortable and I felt less discomfort than I did without it, but I think that no matter what cushion you use and no matter what seat you buy, sooner or later you're going to get sore. My first leg of my first Airhawk ride was just over 300 miles. Toward the end I certainly felt a little sore. However, I also noticed that my discomfort wasn't constantly on my mind like it was before the Airhawk. I would notice it, wiggle around a little and then get distracted and forget about it until I realized I was uncomfortable again. Does air flow through it like they say it does? No, I don't think so. The advertising says that air flows through the spaces between the various air bladders and through the mesh covering keeping you nice and dry and free of "swamp butt." I honestly don't see how anything could flow anywhere between those air bladders, especially when you are told to use very little air and then you sit on them and pretty much squish them all together to the point nothing flows anywhere, at least not that I could tell. Overall though, this didn't bother me too much and it wasn't a big selling point for me anyway. Is it easy to install? Yes, but the mounting straps are chintzy AF. they look a lot like women's bra shoulder straps and use the exact same fastening and tightening system as bras do. It doesn't move around or anything, but for $100 I feel like they could come up with something better, especially something with the fastening hardware under the seat instead of on the sides of the Airhawk. It would take someone exactly 15 seconds to detach it from your bike and run off with it. Would I recommend it? Yes, but only if you manage your expectations and realize that nothing will ever relieve you of all butt discomfort on a motorcycle seat 100%. You will eventually get uncomfortable on anything, even the plushest sofa seat, if you sit in it long enough. You also have to be patient if you go this route and you need to be willing to take the time to dial it in to your personal satisfaction. Overall I'm happy with it and think it performs as advertised. YMMV

Seems VERY comfy and durable!
I got this for my 2023 BMW K1600GTL. I bought the bike in the spring of 2023 before a long planned weekend adventure with friends that I ride with which all have goldwings. Even with the comfort of the GTL, there were times where I had to get creative and stretch from time to time as my butt would get sore after being on the bike for several hours. The guys I ride with who have goldwings HIGHLY recommended getting the Airhawk as they all seemed to have them (I just never noticed all these years....). Anywho, here I am. Fitment is perfect for my seat, almost as if it were 100% designed for my bike. Adjusting the air pressure is crazy simple, don't need an air compressor or anything... I adjusted it per the instructions and I think I found my happy place. I admit, I haven't gone for a ride yet due to SNOW AND CRAPPY ROADS since I purchased the airhawk, but just sitting on the bike and moving around on the seat, I can already tell that this thing is comfortable. Can't wait for my first long distant ride this spring! And if I find anything wrong or anything negative about this seat cushion, I'll make sure to come back and add to this review. UPDATE! I was able to put about 400 miles on the bike in the past 2 weeks or so and HOLY cow, the Airhawk is amazing. I got the air pressure right where it needs to be and it literally doesn't take much air to have an impact on your comfort. My butt hasn't been this comfortable on a motorcycle since I've started riding 18 years ago. No soreness or discomfort to speak of. 100% improvement.

I went back to my original configuration and had the most comfortable ride OF MY LIFE
This is the second year in a row that I rode from North Carolina to Sturgis grossing around 5000 miles each time. I am a retired, disabled veteran and have arthritis in all my major joints. I have tried many different kinds of seats and pads to try it reduce the impact of longer rides. This year, I read about the Airhawk seat and decided, what the heck, it is worth a try. After reading many reviews, it seemed to get mixed ratings, but this is typical for most products. After reading the majority of the reviews, I noticed that the ones that had the most highest rating were from folks who passed on the secret that you can probably attribute the discomfort to putting TOO much air in it. After my experience, I can tell you that it was exactly my case. When I first got it, i put air in it, placed it on a hard chair, and then let air out of it until my butt could feel the hard surface of the chair. After that, I blew just a small amount of air into it and it made it so my but hovered over my seat. As an experiment, I put more air in it on one of our gas stops and don't you know, my butt started hurting after about 150 miles. I went back to my original configuration and had the most comfortable ride OF MY LIFE! I praised it so much, one of my rider friends bought one after our arrival to Rapid City. When they left Sturgis, they went on to the west coast and he texted me this morning and thanked me for turning him on to the pad. He said it was the best thing he purchased on his trip. I also got the smaller P-pad for my wife and she is a great fan as well. This thing is the best thing since PB&J...hands down.

Air is Good
I ordered this and it arrived in a timely fashion the night before I was going to go out on a 1300 mile trip. The stock seat on the Indian Roadmaster, for me has some pressure points in some sensitive areas that won't be comfortable to ride for so many hours. I inflated this, put it on the seat all squared up and released the pressure with the valve. I slowly sank down in the seat on the Airhawk. I really have to say that this little item saved my trip. I don't know if I would have made it without it. Depending on how much air you leave in it while inflated, you might sit just a little higher on your seat. But that's normal, since you have something on top of the seat. And as mentioned in some prior reviews, you don't blow this up and leave it completely inflated. The instructions come with it and explain how to adjust it for you. Since everyone is different and has different anatomy. It will adjust differently for everyone. The individual connected air bladders allow the transfer of air to the places you want it while you are on your seat. It eliminated both of the pressure point areas I had with the stock seat. So far, so good with more than 1300 miles on it for now. It has a rubberized kind of bottom so it won't slide on your seat. It has straps to wrap around and under your seat and adjust for tightness around it. I just wrap one strap around my back rest, and the other under the leather piece on my tank that the strap can slip right behind. Easy to take it off that way so no one will walk off with it secured in the trunk.

On F3 Spyder, Instable in Corners
This review is specific to the CanAm Spyder, and my model is the 2018 F3 Limited. First, I struggled giving a 3 because this product is what is proposes to be, I received a decent quality product like the one shown, no surprises, and it mounted quickly and easily. For what you get the price is a little bit high in my opinion, but I knew the price and I was satisfied. The comfort and adjustments are as advertised. It solved the monkey butt problem I seeked to solved. The first problem is that the F3 is a handling version of the Spyder... I like to drive aggressively. The seat raises you and therefore your center of gravity, and I noticed it right away... very negative. But that alone would not make me downrate this product, because of course this could be expected from the product as presented. The real problem is that you lose all butt grip, and the top rolls over the bottom of the airhawk and gives it a shifty slide of 1-2". That instability takes away so much confidence in hard cornering and can even be dangerous when it lets go for that 1-2". The way a Spyder work you really need to squeeze and have a solid anchor in the center, just like with a wave runner. If you are familiar with wave runners, this same kind of lack of confidence can come from a big wet bathing suit that prevents you from having a confident seat in a hard corner, but on a wave runner, even then you can do some spirited cornering with your butt off the seat, something I have not yet found advisable on a Spyder. My guess it his Airhawk serves its purposes for touring minded RT Spyder drivers. For me, I simply cannot use it, and now I understand my only route is a seat updrade or putting up with monkey butt.

Added comfort
I got this seat to go to Sturgis from Raleigh. That is 26hr of ridding one way. It took 10 days for the package to get here in the Covid era that is. Simple easy packaging simple assembly and simple installation. Fits well may Hd cruiser. Comes deflated and in separate packages. I put air in to it as per description not too much just enough to lightly feel a hard surface I placed it on. It took a small blow with my mouth to do the job the valve its simple to use and seals well. Then is placed inside the cover, a very nice and soft material on top and rubber in bottom, holds it in place well. Got some rain on the way its is not a quick drying fabric so took a bit to dry well. The top fabric is soft and susceptible to pulling threads so you must be careful not to scratch with metal or sharp objects. On the bike i used the strap in the front . Slides in under the seat easily no need to remove my seat or mess with tools. Now to the comfort... i used alllllll the time, after the first 4 hr started to cause pain in the midline area under urethra. I realized i was climbing in the mountains so the air had expanded. The design connects all chambers so the most prominent bony area displaces air to the least pressure which is the midline. The design should eliminate or make the bubbles in the midline a bit smaller, that may help diminishing the pressure in sensitive areas. I took some air out and made it better. I takes some getting used to it. With too much air you loose the grip used with the seat to control the bike at stops and low speeds, feels like ridding a jetski this gets better with less air in it and more use. My bottom was sore at the end of the day but i think i could have been worse had i not used this product. I had to learn how to place my body on to get the most comfort i am 177 lbs and 6'1". I sat towards the front of the seat most of the time to avoid pressure in sensitive areas and bubble up the back to feel pressure in more muscular areas( the ones that go numb) it. It worked for me. Pros Improves comfort in long rides Allows cooling Easy install Cons Expensive Not anatomically designed Delicate fabric on top Makes you ride a bit higher Conclusion : i do recommend its use, there is a learning/ discovery period.

Wow! Tailbone pain is gone.
Been trying to do a lot more riding this year. Already have a Mustang Wide seat with backrest. Very expensive and comfortable. But because I am so tall I was always sitting far back and my tailbone would still kill me after a hour. Put this on the day it arrived. Fit the profile of the seat perfectly. Does not look too bad. After a couple of adjustment attempts I got it dialed in fairly well. Takes all the pressure off my lower back and was pleasantly surprised the room in the forward area which wasn’t bothering me but I can certainly tell a difference. Even on hot days it feels cool which is a big help on longer rides. It has more then doubled the time I can spend riding without feeling like I need a break. It also grips well to the real leather of the mustang seat and does not feel at all like it moves around while I shift my weight. For your average rider that doesn’t have thousands of Dollars to spent on trial and error seat comfort it is a great addition to any touring motorcycle.

Looking forward to a nice long drive
Looks good, feels good, and easy to install. Would be nice if the straps were a little more adjustable though.. for my bike (1700 vulcan lt) the front strap could have been tighter to make it a little more secure and less likely to shift position. Still should be good though
