Works great and installed "fairly" easy 2007 Avalon
I was replacing the inner tie rod on my '07 Avalon "work car" and didn't know what I was doing. I inadvertently overtorqued the rack substantially.... It seemed fine but since I use this car for long highway trips on rural roads, the last thing I wanted was to have my steering go out unexpectedly. For $200 this was just the ticket. I thought about buying a rebuilt/reman unit but at this price it was an easy decision and I couldn't be happier with the quality! I should have read up first though on how to properly prime the unit before starting the car as I have some air trapped and it makes noise, but that will go away and/or I'll get a bleeder from HF and pump out the air. All in all though it was much better quality than expected. The job however was a royal PITA though on the Avalon because it was so tight in there! There's a couple videos of Camrys getting this, but they must have tiny 4 cylinder engines cuz mine was much harder. (Hint you HAVE to drop the sub-frame down at the rear or you'll never get it installed and you need to buy a 17mm crowfoot flare nut wrench for the tubing.)

Great value for the money
One year later and it still works. No complaints about this one.

Item defective
I bought this item having gone through the product details and also because it was first available in June 8 2015 which is the present year thinking it will be well produced to last longer. It cost me a lot to buy and ship to Nigeria. However within weeks after installation i observed it was defective. There must have been misalignment in the pinion and rack because a sharp disturbing sound is always heard when turning the wheel. I had a Mechanic inspect and confirm this. The sound is not from the drive shaft as i had a new one installed To make matters worse the sellers don't show concern at all! I distrust the manufacturer and seller. They posted information which are not true in the item description. Would not recommend this for anyone. Please try ones that have been in the market for some years!

Poor quality control
Installed rack and drove for a short while before developing an aggressive knocking noise while turning along with instability. Turns out one side's inner tie rod had threadlocker and was torqued. The side with the noise... the inner tie rod backed itself out, loose & partially unthreaded with no threadlocker. Extraordinarily unsafe. Obviously an assembly error. Outside of that, quality seems reasonable for the price.

good
it was a perfect fit though my technician complained of missing some part but he used the one from the old part. Overall, it was a good deal and he didn't ask me to return so am happy. my car runs good.
