Great picture, great tool!
This is my 2nd endoscope, and this is a better quality one. The functions on it are more simplified then the previous one I got, easier to take pictures or record, and the settings are really accessible. I love that it allows you to a zoom, or rotate the screen. The light added to the camera is more superior than the last one, it has a dimable knob to increase/decrease brightness. It comes with a 8g SD card and attachesble tools to the camera. They are very useful and does not obstruct the camera vision much. I didn't realize I got the 50 ft cord, but proved to be useful, especially running it down a dryer vent. The picture quality is great, figure my phone recording, doesn't do it justice. The unit only took me 15-20 to charge, and has a lanyard attachment option. Overall, happy with this buy!

Didnโt work out of the box.
I bought this so I could run it down my sewer line outside to check for any pipe breaks. We just bought a rental house so I wanted to do an inspection before we get to far into renovating it. I read all of the reviews before hand so I knew I was going to need to add something to stiffen up the cable and possibly another light source. I bought a couple of 20ft sticks of 1/2โ PEX and a couple of cheap LED flashlights. The plan was to tape the camera to the end of the PEX with the flashlight and run it down the pipe. Seemed like this was a solid idea. Got my supplies laid out tested my flashlights and unboxed my camera and to my surprise it did not work!! The LEDs come on and I can adjust the brightness, but I canโt get the camera to come on. I only get a blue screen, which is normally what happens when you have a connection issue. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in over 50 times. Tried blowing the usb connection point out like an old Nintendo game!! Tried charging it up to 100% and still no luck. Tried pulling the microSD card out and reinserting and still nothing. I was really needing to get this done already but now will either have to hire a plumber to scope it or buy another camera and cross my fingers. Not saying that everyone of these cameras are trash, but boy mine sure was. Just wanted to give everyone a warning to not get your hopes up.

Buy the smallest cord possible.
I purchase this product to look down into the floor vents in the lower level of Our house. The vents in this level are encased in concrete and inaccessible to observe and evaluate in any other manor. Plus sides, the light brightness adjustment was as described and very helpful in the conditions within which I was working. The controls were straightforward and very easy to use right out of the box. The recording function was more than adequate for my needs and for that of most users in my opinion. Did not try it in wet conditions. Cons, the wire is not rigid enough to push further than a few feet as even when strait it tends to curl up on itself when pressure is applied. This rendering it useless for long runs. (Work around used for this below). Battery life appeared short. As I fully charges the unit out of the box. Used it for about 30 minutes and was called away for several hours. Before leaving I turned the unit off and returned to a dead unit. Opinion, for the dollars this is a good unit for 25 feet or less. When used on straight runs. I found using an electrical fish tape attached to the wire allowed me to extend the distance of usability considerably. There will be some issues with orientation when using, however with use they are manageable. For the dollars, this is a good unit when used within the parameters indicated previously. Unfortunately, I will need to upgrade to something just a little more stable for future uses. Good luck.

Never be afraid of the unknown!
First, this is not an industrial strength, professional grade endoscope. It's a decent camera with LED adjustable lighting on the end of a 50 foot ยผ inch cable...all attached to a small GameBoy type of screen. It saved me time and money this weekend. The on screen directions are easy to use, very easy to use. The unit is light weight, and charges with a USB cable. The charge held for over three hours of use for me, though I was shutting it off when not in use. The majority of complaints I read before buying it was about the rigidity of the cable... don't expect a lot from this cable. It will not push through a 4 inch pipe, making turns and bends around corners for 50 feet. The trick is to secure the end to a cable snake (I used a zip tie) letting the snake be ahead of the camera by a few inches. This gave the rigidity the camera cable didn't have. I was able to camera 25 feet of pipe easily as long as the snake was able to make the bends. The 50 foot cable would do well in a ยพ inch conduit pipe but not a 4 inch sewer line. The one thing that I think is a downside is that the cable is permanently attached to the unit. It would be nice to interchange with a shorter cable if needed.

Electrical, Plumbing and Automotive Camera
So far I have used this camera to scope some walls where low voltage wire was coming through, and the intake of my car's engine. I plan on using this to examine my house's drain pipes later as there is a large tree that may have roots growing through my drain pipe and I want to avoid costly repairs in the future. The video quality is good and it helped me see where some ethernet cables were going in my house, you can see the attached photo taken with the device of inside the walls.. The 90 degree mirror attachment was handy for scoping the intake of my car. I haven't used the magnet or hook attachments yet, but they seem to be good quality and I'm sure I will use them in the future when I drop a bolt or other item in my car's engine bay. Overall a good camera for my uses, would recommend.

No so good
Not so good to use on anything that has a bend because if the lack of flexibility. Image on cell is not to good either. Not bright enough when using it in a well lite area. Not worth it
