This has been a staple of my mornings and afternoons for months now. Works great; spill coffee and all kinds of crap on it and it's still going. I changed the batteries once in probably 3-4 months. Greatly improved my espresso. Wonderful budget scale.

This is a neat little scale. It appears to be accurate as stated for the most part, and the protector covers the buttons and metal plate well. It might be a nice feature to be able to remove the cover a bit more conveniently, but the scale fits decently well under a portafilter. It wipes off easily, but I did end up with some shallow scratches on the metal surface which do not seem to have hurt anything. I have gotten a lot of use from this scale and its timer. The batteries are easy to replace, though one of mine did not want to stay in unless I angled it just so. Great price and it looks like it should hold up well with some normal care. The scale seems to have a hard time making up its mind when the weight is close to changing .1 grams

This is an excellent scale for brewing coffee while traveling. It’s small, protected by a cover, and works reliably. The screen is readable and the buttons are pleasant to click. It wipes off for easy cleaning. It’s a little slow to update the measured weight but still very usable for precise pour over brewing needs. I like the color scheme and easy to toss in a pocket or bag design.

It's a scale WITH a seconds timer! Important for espresso/coffee making. I needed a small scale to use with a Cafelat Robot - and this fits between the uprights perfectly. (I simply removed the plastic flip/flop cover). Battery life is decent IF you don't forget to turn it off too often. The backlight times out after a minute or two, and if you're weighing something, the scale auto shuts after a bit of no activity. BUT if you set the Timer running, it will keep going until you manually turn it off. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of. Very happy with the build and the accuracy.

I use this scale for measuring coffee beans several times each morning. It isn't fancy, but is small and good for travel and is very affordable. It seems to be pretty accurate. It was a good purchase.

These scales have been recommended by people for a while. Unfortunately as others have pointed out here, the quality is no longer there and quite simply the scale doesn't work reliably anymore. If you tare, it will sometimes randomly change the value it was tared to which means the weight becomes randomly off sometimes by 2g. I have also seen it randomly re-tare while I am weighing without ever touching the tare button. And then sometimes it just decides to keep increasing the weight of what is on it continuously even though nothing extra is being added. I thought I had a dud unit so I asked for a replacement to be sent. Somehow the replacement was even worse with more frequent glitchy behaviour. Keep you sanity and avoid this scale

Die Espresso Waage hat mir sehr getaugt aber leider hat sie nach zweieinhalb Jahren von alleine den Geist aufgeben trotz behutsamen Gebrauchs. Das blöde daran war dass ich sie die ersten eineinhalb Jahre im Grunde überhaupt nicht gebraucht habe und sie im täglichen Gebrauch nur das letzte Jahr wirklich benutzt wurde und trotzdem hat sie danach schon den Geist aufgegeben...

small scale, good quality you cannot use for medium items (and bigger) but is good for espresso making.

I initally bought these as I was looking for the smallest coffee scales available. I have had them for over a year now and find myself using them for so many measuring tasks, not just for coffee. The tenth of a gram accuracy is much better than the standard kitchen scales and they are not so bulky or awkward to move around the kitchen. Still on the original battery and they have survived being covered in flour and all sorts of spills.
