METZ 138 cm (55 inches) 4K Ultra HD Certified Android Smart LED TV M55G2 (Metallic Bezel)

Product is pathetic. It stops working with in 10 mins. I came to know ( through authorised technician) that product mother board is not responding.. waiting for refund

I was in market to purchase a Samsung RU7100 tv 50 inches. Went to many offline stores and could not get a good deal on the tv from Samsung. Hence went online to see which tv will meet all my criteria. After some research, I narrowed down to Google Certified TV and in those I was looking at TCL 55 inch and Metz 55 inch. I finally bought metz tv for couple of reasons. It has 2.5 GB Ram and 16 GB HDD and is a 4k HDR TV. The installation of the TV was delayed by a day but the installation was done correct and hence nothing to complain there. The tv has very good display and has in built chromecast too. I am happy with the performance of the TV. The picture quality is good. The inbuilt speakers have good sound quality too though, i have installed the soundbar for additional bass effect. I am loving the interface of the Android tv. I hope to see this TV working without any issues for atleast 4 to 5 years. Only grouse that I have is that it should have an IPS display panel and that would have taken the VFM of the TV to the next level.

I am writing this review after using it for a couple of weeks now. 1 Star less because the Installation guy didn't turn up... then one fine day after almost a week, I received a mail from Amazon that my installation has been cancelled because of my request... FUNNY :) I think The installation guys decide on the customers behalf ... ha ha BUT I am very happy with the product Quality, 5 stars for that. I say it is the best buy... Full value for money. Best Picture quality, Top Build Quality, TV Looks excellent... Net connected Immediately, Bluetooth works fine, No problems. TV inbuilt speaker Sound not up to par ... BUT its not POOR... it is ACCEPTABLE... But when i use my Bluetooth Headphones... It is Awesome.

Update: Changed the star rating to 3 from 1. Finally got a call back from METZ. He suggested me to press Home button and Left button simultaneously, which will enable Bluetooth on the remote. Now Google Voice works with Remote. Thanks! Strange, there's no documentation of how to configure the remote for Bluetooth! However, still menu button and some more buttons dont work. I have whatsapped the person who helped, I will call him tomorrow. ------- Google assistant, Google voice, Bluetooth doesn't work. Customer care doesn't visit. I will wait 2 more days, if they don't come, will raise a return.

Update The tv always has issues when streaming anything online. 50% of the times the tv will go black and only audio will play. I have already complained about many issues including this one to Metz, and even after the visit this problem remains. Please do not buy this brand as they do not know how to resolve any issue. When I saw this product in stores, I found the color reproduction of this TV to be at par with other leading brands. Since I was looking for an android TV, this was an easy choice to make. I purchased 3 tvs from them and was looking forward to it. The installation process was a nightmare though. The technical team was highly irresponsible. They wouldn't come on time! Secondly we had issues with all three televisions. The 2 55inch tvs would not start with the remote at all. They were continously hanging and had to be manually rebooted. The 50 inch TV corners were darker than the centre. With a lot of to and fro they finally replaced all three TVs. For now they are working fine. However, the voice feature keeps on getting disconnected all the time. I'm changing the rating of 5 stars to 3 now. I guess they have a lot to improve upon.

I am regular customer of amazon but reviewing first time bcs i really love this tv. I have bought it 2 weel ago. Its working fabulous. All apps nd 4k video working absolutely fine. Nd all the features are quite simple. I recommend this tv as compare with every another brand. Bcs price features, quality of display nd quality of build is best.

Metz Service Support is Pathetic, I have registered Complaint 3 times to the Customer Care as my TV is not supporting HDMI and USB Ports. They have not assigned a service Engineer for a Visit. Please Help.

My TV is currently under a warranty. I found out that on the left side of my screen the panel started experiencing a problem of blinking in Oct/Nov 2020. I got my TV checked with the technician sent by Metz, and he suggested that either the panel or the TV will be replaced. Hence, a request was raised in Oct/Nov 2020 for the same. However, since then there has been no update. I have been asked to contact the area representative from Metz who usually doesn't pick up my phone and whenever he does, he gives me an update that my TV will be replaced until next week. If you dial up the customer care number, they will simply ask you to reach out to the area representative. Please think twice before buying TV from Metz India.
