A book that will take you on a self-discovery journey. It highlights the issues & pitfall and the reasons behind them. Offers healing and guidance through the ayaat of Quran and ahadeeth of the Messenger of Allah. Resonated with me a lot, and if you read it with your heart, you will set it free from the prison of desires and deception of dunya & and reclaim your heart ❤️.

Phenomenal must have

This book is a heart-opening that is written to awaken the people. It convinces us to think about what we are doing in this material life and what should we do. In this book, she covers many aspects of life. She explains Attachments with our God and the material life, Love, Hardships, Relationships with the creator, and also explains a woman’s status, Ummah in a good manner. It is an interesting book and its language is simple. The short chapters of this book explain a lot. And everyone should read it and should avail themselves of this book. Thank you!

the messages that this book provides and the break down with such light hearted spiritual values give you a broadened look at life while deepening the meaning of things I've seen as mundane.

Wish I could read it for the first time again, a very digestible read! This is a beautiful body of work!

The subtitle "Personal Insight on Breaking Free from Life's Shackles" is a good description of this book. It is inspiring and it offers hope, based upon the author's experiences and reflections. Many may be compatible with your own; some may not. I most enjoyed the section "Women's Status," for example; even though I do not 100% agree with the author's take, it still inspired me and reminded me that I don't need to conform to Western society's expectations and standards, that I just need to be true to my faith.

Love this book! Will always go back to reading this book if I feel like I’m getting too sucked into this worldly life. I used to get really attached to everyone before and this is a great reminder to not lose yourself in other people and knows what’s most important. I definitely feel like I reclaimed my heart after reading this book and feeling more empowered and independent. This book has changed my life for the better moving forward. Thank you to Yasmin shes amazing and she’s doing amazing work and she’s a great writer and speaker. She touches my heart and makes me feel empowered every time and helps strengthen my faith. Great book and investment for the future. Will save this book for my kids one day :)
