SOL by Jergens Deep Water Self Tanner Mousse, Water-based Sunless Tanner with Coconut Water for Fake Tan, Dye-free Tanning Active Derived from Natural Sugars, Deep Color, 5 Ounce

I have tried sooo many different brands of tanning mousse. St. Tropez, Tanology, CoCo, Beauty by Earth, Bondi Sans, Lime Light, Tan AF, the list goes on. Not kidding, I have used tanning mousse for years and try different ones often. BUT this! 🤩 I was most recently using Beauty by Earth bc I decided dye free was probably the way to go when using something all the time. I liked it ok, but it faded fast and unevenly leaving me splotchy and with dark patches when I would re-apply and it's expensive ($34/bottle). I searched for a cheaper dye free and found this and am so glad I did! I buy the "deep" bc I like a darker tan, it's not quite as dark as some I've used but it gives a beautiful and natural golden tan without any orange! I have bony hands and feet and this is the first thing to not look orange or too heavy on my joint areas. Just looks natural. Finally! And it fades sooo evenly no splotches or dark spots. And all for $11.... this is not a paid review btw, I just want one tanning enthusiast to another to know this is a great product. I used to use Jergens gradual tan lotion as a teenager and while it was fine for the early 2000s (lol), I did not expect to love this SOL mousse by Jergens so much! Def give it a try. Also def use a tanning mit with it. I use a tanning brush for my hands feet and face and just use a small amount or excess.

This stuff works great! I am very fair skinned and have always had problems with sunless tanners looking too orange on me. They also always end up streaky on me as well which might be due to how I’m applying but this time I bought the mitt which helps tremendously. The smell of tanners always gets to me as well. Most have this lingering smell that won’t go away. This stuff however smelled great. Of course you are going to have a faint scent of the tanner later on but I’m very sensitive to smells. I applied in the afternoon and didn’t notice any change in color. I was becoming a bit skeptical as it says within hours. The next morning however I woke up to a perfect tan glow. Not too dark not orange just right for a fair skinned person looking to have a little bit of color without having to spend hours in the sun. I am so happy with my purchase. The mouse texture makes it easy to apply and not heavy like most of the lotions out there. And for the cost you can’t beat it. I can not comment on how long the color lasts as this is my first application but I am very happy with my results and highly recommend. I will be purchasing this product again.

I have used just about every sunless tanner imaginable. Some were good and some were bad. What I have learned in my experience is that all tanners work different on all type of skin. So what may work for me may not be the one that works best for your skin. I say this because so many will put a product down all because it doesn’t work for them, I say move on and find yours. So all that to say this. This product works great for my skin. It browns beautifully and stays that way for quite a few days. I love the stuff and for the price this is a win!!! I have used the pricey stuff and still use one in case this one runs out, but hands down this is an awesome product. Smell is not bad ( I detest tanner smell) this one is tolerable. Doesn’t stain my clothes and if used properly with a mitt you are well on your way to looking beautifully tan. Hope this helps

I love the clear tanner because it doesn’t give me strawberry legs like the tanners with bronzer. The tan is a little on the orange side but still a nice glow. It being clear makes it a little harder to apply because you can’t see where you’ve put it but it still turned out pretty good. My daughter had a much harder time than me and missed several spots. The smell…. It is stronger than any self tanner I’ve ever used. It’s a very strong sunscreen smell but tolerable and fades after a while… or maybe I just got used to it.

First time self tanner and I haven't tried anything else. I am scared to swap because this works. I'm pretty pale, especially in winter. In winter it can look a little orange but with a summer tan + SOL it's super nice and natural

Overall this product works well and gives a much more natural tan than other self tanners I've used. I purchased the mitts too which I liked because have you ever had your hands stained? It's not fun LOL. I docked off 2 stars because this stuff stinks !!! Make sure you use this the night before your event so you can shower in the morning. It smells like you put suntan lotion on, spent a hot day at the beach where you sweat,, and then didn't shower for a couple days. I will not repurchase based on the smell.

This is one of my favorite fake tans. It never irritates my skin and leaves you with such a beautiful color. The only downside to it as it is clear so on rare occasional I’ll miss a. spot or two.

I’ve used self-tanner for YEARS. I have figured out the good and bad ones of the bunch, and this one is in my top 3. It goes on clear, it is on the watery side and is super easy to apply. It has a mildly strong scent, but it’s “fresher” than the classic self tanners i.e. I don’t mind it. As you can see, my arm is a lot tanner than my foot, which hasn’t had any self tanner applied, just to show you how dark it gets. It’s not orange and looks like a real tan. This was after two applications. I do like that the self tanner doesn’t rub off onto my clothes and sheets after I apply before bed, which is a common occurrence with other brands.

Me encantó, me lo puse y me quedó bastante parejo, no me quedó con rayas como otros autobronceadores. Seca muy rápido. Soy muy blanca, me lo apliqué y me quedó muy bonito, no queda naranja
