Monolith 4 Tier Audio Stand XL - Open Air Design, Each Shelf Supports up to 75 Lbs, Perfect Way to Organize AV Components, Espresso

First, the shipping box and how the parts are packed is well though out so damage during shipping should only occur through the significant carelessness of the carrier. My outer box had some minor bumps and scratches. I could tell the carrier was reasonable with it and took some care during shipping. It is pretty heavy, so I was worried the shelves would be damaged somewhere. They were not. Its so easy to assemble and its design is well though out. It is very strong and has a sharp clean look to it I like the 1" thick shelves. Most cabinets like that have shelves that are between 1/2" and 3/4" inch. I bought the black. Everything fits together very well. I will be putting a 90 pound amplifier on the reinforced shelf and I think it will easily hold it. The quality of the steel pipe is very good. The adjustable feet are also great. I think this was a great value for the money. I see similar stands for up to $1000. They may look fancier, have a better finish, but this will do the job perfectly. No need for me to have anything that looks better for twice the price or more.

This is a heavy duty stand that is very nice looking. I have it loaded down with stereo gear and it's rock solid. One suggestion would be to buy some carpet or floor sliders as it can be very difficult to move when loaded down. I'm about to order a second one now that I know what a quality piece of furniture this is. Did I mention it looks great!?! Second stand arrived yesterday. Same great packaging with great instructions. Had a few issues this time. A couple of the threaded rods were difficult to install, one so much that I had to use a light grip with a pair of locking pliers. The others just needed to be wiggled as they were twisted into place. Two of the shelves had minor damage (see pics) on one corner. All in all I am still pleased with the look.

Excellent stand. It has sturdy materials and the assembly is easy and straightforward. It’s a well engineered audio stand and if it fits your need, definitely consider this stand. I couldn’t be more pleased. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Looks very nice in the living room. The instructions were easy to understand and follow.

It is quite heavy and the net weight of the rack on carton marking is 25.2kgs. Enclosed a leaflet for me to assemble the rack at about 30 minutes. Once assembly, I can feel that the rack is heavy and solid enough for me to put my AV/HiFi equipment on it. The overall quality of the rack is good and nice, although I have found two minor scratches on one of the metal pillar. It is worth to have this rack at my purchasing price.

Monolith is so under rated. Which is sad. Their products are stout and will have a long life of use. Their method of construction allows them to be stable and be able to adapt to uneven surfaces which allows the components to be level and stable. The shelves ability to hold up to 75lbs is great as most components that would be of shelf size are not 75lbs, but less. The benefit to cost ratio is excellent when compared to other more well known brands that you'd spend at least twice, maybe three times the $$$ for. The colors used can be used in in many locations as they allow for matching of woods or fabrics. The assembly is so very simple that you almost don't need instructions. Save some money on your component stands and spend it on the more important things....The stereo A/V components.

Terrific product! Very well made and highly changeable. Heavy duty rack that will hold almost anything you can throw at it and look good doing it.

Es un rack sólido y robusto Deja pasar vibraciones entre baldas por lo que hay que aislar bien los componentes, sobre todo el tocadiscos, pero por ese precio es normal. Se monta en quince minutos.

kann mich den Vorrednern nur anschließen. Einfache Montage mit guter Anleitung. Hochwertig und sehr stabil. Es passt jede handelsübliche Anlage mit Einzelkomponenten hinein. Selbst unser großer Verstärker mit Tuner und einer Höhe von 21,5 cm hat nach oben noch 1 cm Luft. Auch optisch ist das Design zeitlos schick. Somit ist für mich als Sparfuchs auch der Preis völlig gerechtfertigt. Ich kann das Teil nur empfehlen und bin froh das ich mich dafür entschieden habe. War übrigens ein Geburtstagsgeschenk für meine Frau, damit konnten wir ihre alte Stereoanlage wieder aufstellen und benutzen. somit habe ich sogar doppelt gepunktet :-)

This is such a nice stand. The vinyl wrap was perfect, not a flaw anywhere. Satin finish isnt too glossy and the all black looks fantastic. I originally purchased the non xl but the thickness of the shelves and posts on the xl look so much better. Great price too, compared to other audio racks. Very sturdy, I moved the wide shelf up one level so my receiver wasnt on the bottom. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.
