Dorman 76882 Temperature Control Knob Assortment

Works perfect in my 2002 Buick Century. Good replacement for whatever the reason may be. Good quality, feels durable, and looks similar enough to the other knobs to not make much of a difference. Note: The night light doesn't shine through, but it fits perfectly and works as it should.

The knob is perfect. I have a 2003 Buick Century, and one of the AC control knobs broke off. You get three in the package. I thought the black one would work, but the gray one fit better. You just put it on the protruding metal post and push firmly, slowly, steadily until it's flush with the surrounding flat panel. I pushed with my thumbs on either side of the knob; that way I was sure that I was pushing steadily and not bending the metal post. It works great. Yes, it does have a slightly different feel from the original knob, but I like it even better. And for only $6.97? Great!

I purchased these after one of the knobs on my 04 Grand Am snapped off one day as I went to turn it. These replacements are pretty good. They feel very similar to the factory ones. The fit isn't perfect though. There is a bit more space around the edges and it sticks out a bit further than the other knobs. But overall, great product and the looks do not bother me much. End of the day, it's a knob. It does the job. Edit: I found out a few weeks after I wrote this review that I had not pushed the knob in all the way. I was afraid of doing damage to any of the components. Once it finally clicked in all the way, it was a perfect fit. So just a heads up, you may need quite a bit of force to get it to truly snap in.

They are well made and would look good on your oven. Unfortunately, they didn't fit mine.

My Buick Century 2004 didn't have a knob to change the direction of air flow when I bought the car. So finally I researched knobs and found this site. This company sent several knobs to me assuming one would fit. This worked for me, one fits perfectly and I finally have a control knob again. The knob is made of good material and feels equal in quality to the other knobs in the car. The other knobs are shiny and this knob has a matte finish, but you can't tell by sitting in the car. I'm really pleased with the service, delivery was very fast, the product was professionally packaged and well-presented and of good material and it functions perfectly well. The knob cost me about $6.50 plus about $6.00 for shipping, a good deal for $12.50. I highly recommend this vendor...Five Stars...: )/Jayne

Fit our Pontiac Grand Prix

The plastic inside the vent/AC/heat control knob on my beloved 2003 Century crumbled due to old age and wear. I found these after an internet search. For the money what could I lose? Two fit fine (it's a universal replacement kit for several car models so of course not all would) and the one I used matches the original one perfectly. And it works! Good thing too because my attempt to repair the broken original knob did not. Now I don't have look at a gaping hole and use pliers in place of a knob.

Review by my wife: Two days ago while adjusting the position of the heater in my aging Pontiac GrandAm, the knob just fell off into my hand along with a broken piece of red plastic. At first I tried to convince myself that I could live with hot air blowing directly at my face. However, after a morning of fogged windows and frozen toes, I resolved to find a replacement knob. Thank goodness for the internet, where I found the item description and part number. A cursory search brought up several online auto parts sites, but with shipping, the three knobs totaled well over $12. The obvious next step? Clearly, Amazon.com. It came as no surprise that Amazon had the part, the best price and free 2 day shipping (with Prime membership). I was also amazed to discover Amazon's Automotive section. WOW! Great prices on everything I browsed and even a way to confirm the part fits my car. AMAZING!!! I just received the knobs today, went out to my car in the dark and almost instantly "installed" the new one. Any of the three would work. One is black, one is dark grey and one has a clear "window" where the white stripe is on the others. I almost replaced all of them right then, but decided to store them as spares. Honestly, since the white strip on my others has chipped off (cheap car), I'll probably just swap them out with these new knobs and toss the old ones in the glovebox for the spares. This has been, by far, the most effortless and least expensive repair I've had with this car, and believe me....there have been many. Great product, great price. Bought these as one of my heater control knobs broke so I needed a replacement.Luckily 2 of the 3 knobs fit without much hassle putting them on.The knobs that fit my 2002 Buick Century were the black one with the longer white stripe and the grey knob.The other black control knob didn't fit at all as the hole was a larger square shape instead of a round oval shape and it just fell right off. Happy with my purchase would have been nice if all the knobs were black though.

my buick century 02' A/C knob broke off and I ordered this pack. Its been on for a couple months now and works like a charm. It sticks out slightly more than the others but doesn't affect the use. Recommended
