Arrived as described. Worked well!

Accurate. Easy to use. Built like a tank. However, like others reported, the first time I fired it up the tester was intermittent due to the battery tray being loose. Rather than returning it, I emailed Elite Core. An hour later I received a reply -- from the CEO -- on a Sunday night. He replied, "Try pushing the battery sled all the way in and then push it downward while pushing inward at the same time. See if it clicks into place. We have had good luck with this technique. If it doesn’t work for you, let me know and I’ll send you another one!" I tried this simple technique AND IT WORKED. The battery sled clicked and locked into place. That is incredible customer service! I'm now an Elite Core customer for life. Highly recommended.

So far so good. Built 30+ cables, and have used the tester every time, for all different types of ends. Tester has been a great help.

…it would’ve been nice for it to have come with SOME type of manual, chart or other explanation as to how the lights correlate. I know it’s pretty simple, but when you’re testing different types of cables/cords, they don’t always light up the same sequence of lights—especially if the ends are different types of connectors. For example, I tested a cord with an XLR at one end, and 3.5mm at the other end…and it lit up an entirely new combination of lights across the 1, 2, and 3 sweep.

This product has everything I need for tearing my cables. I can instantly find and repair my damaged cables. I no longer have to show up with damaged cables.
