I need a compression sleeve for knee bursitis. I measured at 14.5” putting me at the lower range of a small. Will this sleeve be tight enough?

Yeah, it’s tight. But wont be uncomfortable. I got the same measurements and get 2 small ones. After moving around for a bit, they got better.

For accurate size, do you measure 4 in above the bottom, middle, or top of the knee? I'm not sure which to choose from these 3 different measurements.

That's my question too. This is my 2nd sleeve. I followed instructions, but measured fm the top of the joint on the 1st sleeve that I bought. It was so big that it simply slid down my leg when I walk. I'm measuring fm the middle of the joint this time.

If my knee started hurting me during and after Sports will this help if I wear it during Sports?

Hello Yes it will help but if your (Meniscus is torn ) like mine - the only real solution is surgery. I have surgery scheduled this month to hopefully really stop the pain. Another great brand is Sable. It actually is more comfortable and a little larger length wise, also you receive 2 supports for about the same money. I am 6’5”- 230 pounds so I give them a real workout!

what size for 16 inches above my knee?

I measured 19” and ordered a large, a good fit. I was in the range for a medium but it was too tight so I exchanged it for a large. I’d say a small since you are an inch less according to the size small measurement. Good customer service from them if you need to exchange, very fast.. Be sure to air dry only.
