I tested this compressor when it arrived. It pumped up to pressure. No leaks. vented some pressure off and the compressor started up and topped off the tank. I've yet to use it for airbrushing but plan to in the near future. I'm quite familiar with various air compressor systems both big and small. One upgrade I'll do before I begin using it is to install a better air/water filtration system. I used to paint motorcycles and good filtration is a must. Will update at a later date.

Very quiet - no more jump scares when the compressor kicks on while airbrushing. Seems well made and durable and easy to bring from work areas. Pressure and airflow are exelent for my use and the rubber feet isolate the vibration noise very well.

Great value for the money. The compressor is relatively small, simple to use, and relatively quiet. The air reservoir helps with buffering the air and providing a steady pressure for the airbrush. It has catch can for water droplets. It also has water drain at the bottom - my recommendation is to buy a valve for quick and simple release because it does capture some moisture, and the tank might corrode if it accumulates there for long time.

Great compressor! We use it with an airbrush and have had zero issues with it is far, and have had it for quite some time. Definitely recommend if looking for a small portable compressor and a decent price.

The machine itself is awesome. It is hyper quiet, functions really well, and definitely seems like a good purchase. However, it comes with no instructions whatsoever - of any kind. Nothing on how to plug it in to your hairbrush, how to maintain it, or if you are a newbie how to deal with the first steps to set it up.

So far, so good. Holds pressure well and hasn't needed to be drained at all. I checked the bottom drain valve after a month of weekly use and it was dry. The heat plate gets a bit hot after extended use, but that's by design. It's not quiet, but it's an air compressor. If you want a quiet air compressor you'll need to spend 3x what you're spending here.

Generic AS-186 style compressor. My unit came with a faulty pressure gauge not a huge deal as Home Depot stock replacements. Other than the broken gauge unit worked very well and is surprising quiet. One thing to consider is this compressor will get hot with heavy use that said, providing you don't plan on using it to paint your house with you should be OK. Bottom line? As an airbrush compressor the AS-186 is affordable, quiet and works well. EDIT After posting this review I was contacted by the seller who offered to replace the my compressor. Since the only thing wrong with it was a faulty pressure gauge that cost just a few dollars to replace I didn't need to accept their kind offer but it does go to show the level of commitment the seller has to customer service. Definitely a 5-star seller!

Very good compressor for the airbrush. It is fairly compact. The compressor is powerful enough, fills up the tank quickly without getting warm. It is also very quiet. It comes with everything for airbrush application: the regulator, the drain valve, the water trap. Great value!
