What size plates does this accommodate?

I got mine yesterday and my 10x12 plates fit o.k. they rode kinda low in the carrier. And there is a lot of room in the plate pocket, the plate pocket cavity extends all the way up to and into the shoulder straps. There is a lot of room for 11x14s, in fact it's probably better with the bigger plates.

My stomach is 55in with this fit?

Will the magazine pouches Velcro shut with standard sized AR mags in them?
